Dunno how this'll work... but I like the idea![edit]

Power_Box again. I got your message. Yep, that's exactly why I don't like Punctured's methods... he ripped alot of their (EliotAndrews is an account used by a team of people, I think) article into pieces. Unkindly and mercellesly. If we can bring back that article, get a bunch of cites, and avoid biases as much as possible, then PuncturedBicicle's reasons to screw us up like this will become a whole lot less effective, if not ineffective.

Still, this'll be tricky. For one thing, I don't exactly know how we'll pull this off. I really don't want to screw something like this up. Also, I don't even know how to properly cite stuff here. It's a touch... confusing to me. I'm also certain that a lot of people won't like this because we might have to go against Wiki's "anyone can edit" system. Yeah, I feel a bit nervous about what we've got going here. But still... I'd like to help make the Yoshi's Story article as reasonable as possible. That's why I joined Wiki in the first place. So I think... I'll give it a shot and hope for the best! "Be bold." That's one of Wikipedia's biggest rules if I'm not mistaken.

So please reply and tell me more about how we can do this! Thank you!

P.S: I noticed you saved the article in your user page, so you don't have to worry about sending it if you don't want to.

Help! I suck at referencing![edit]

I wanted to add this info to the beginning of marketing and sales:

In Japan, Yoshi's Story sold 53,428 copies on the day of its release and earned the #7 rank in Famitsu magazine's top 10 best selling titles. http://ign64.ign.com/articles/061/061674p1.html

As you can see, I had a site that I could reference here. But comparing this to those other references that I see in the editing pages... I'm pathetic! Plus when I tried just typing in the site as a reference in the sandbox... it looked like it would be a total disaster! I just selected the reference button and put in the website URL between the two "ref" thingies, but I need to do much more, don't I? I'm really sorry I have to bother you about this, but could you please instruct me further on the art of referencing?

P.S: Since I'm here, here's something I want to add to the reception: http://ign64.ign.com/articles/062/062062p1.html This is fine, right?

At least PuncB can't stop us from eventually adding these pieces of official info. After all, they're from *ahem* reliable sources.

Sorry again... Power Box (talk) 03:31, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My first reference![edit]

I followed your instuctions exactly to make a reference about Yoshi's Story winning a CESA award. It... kinda worked. It's listed with a number and all, and the link to the site works. But when you compare my reference to the others... it looks just plain weird. I'm really sorry, but I need your help... again.

Oh, if you wish to look, the CESA part was added to the end of the paragraph describing critics... initial reaction to the N64 version.

Erm... Long time, no see...[edit]

I decided to see if there's something else I can add to Yoshi's Story reception again recently, and I found this: http://wii.ign.com/articles/820/820754c.html#comments_top?p=1&s=ASC

That's the first of currently 3 pages of comments in responce to IGN's Virtual Console review of Yoshi's Story. Most of them explain that the review seemed to compare YS to Yoshi's Island all the time and that the game should be seen and enjoyed as something that ISN'T Yoshi's Island. So... is that cool? And if it is, should I use all three pages or just one?

I find it ironic that you're accusing Marty and myself of being bullies while at the same time blanking my user page. I was unaware that you'd done so until I logged in tonight, but I'm no less annoyed by it. If you have a problem with the way we're helping out on Wikipedia, you have much more appropriate methods at your disposal to voice your concerns. Check out WP:DR, WP:RFC and WP:3O for places to start. Blanking user pages will only get you blocked as being disruptive.
I've already told you and other editors on the disputed pages that Wikipedia works on consensus, and the level of information we've been trying to keep in place on Bubble Bobble and such has been agreed upon by a pretty large group of editors, not just Marty and myself. It's not that we're trying to force our opinions on anyone, but rather that we're trying to abide by the current consensus, especially since we helped to form it and are in agreement with it. If you want to change the consensus, please participate in discussions about it either on the article's talk page, or on the Wikiproject Talk page. Be prepared to present and defend your position without becoming uncivil, resorting to personal attacks, or becoming disruptive to prove your point. Remember, attack the content, not the editors.
If disruption continues, I will refer it to the appropriate channels for action. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 04:42, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
And be prepared to present your point with a bunch of blue words.75.121.17.204 (talk) 03:28, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have a problem with me making sure people have the links they need to the relevant policies? ... and why are you bothering, anyway? This person hasn't done anything here in over four months. :P — KieferSkunk (talk) — 01:33, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
