Diva Champions GT

Hey. I think it is about time to make the Divas Champions topic a Good Topic nominee. I have a sample of what it would look like here and created a book. You are the other major contributor so I wanted your input. I haven't nominated anything for a GT in quite awhile, so is there anything I left out? Nikki311 20:19, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Thanks.

Just wanted to say thank you for all the good edits and appropriate actions on here. From one editor to another. I know this can get quite thankless so I just wanted to express my gratitude and say keep up the good work! SkrallAgoriSkrallAgori (talk) 11:41, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

The Reverter

The Reverter. It's you.

I'm a new user here, and I can't help notice (from two articles actually) - you tend to make a lot of reverts (including to my edits). Now, I understand you have a commitment to quality control as to what goes on Wikipedia, you've written Good Articles and thus I can understand that you want to keep this site and its articles top-notch. That is commendable.

However, I can see that you make many reverts to existing articles. People (newbies, really) who haven't registered on the site make some edits to articles. But because they have some sort of problem or other (most likely because they are unsourced), you deem the edits to be bad. Yes, they may be bad, but mostly, the edits are borne out of goodwill and wanting to educate everyone out there. Instead of clicking the undo button so quickly, perhaps you should (if you aren't already) consider whether you, could help the newbie/non-member of Wikipedia out, by perhaps searching for a reliable source yourself to back up whatever that person has edited, provided time permits. Most of the people really want to contribute, to help Wikipedia become more updated, it's just that they don't know exactly how. When they make errors, perhaps you could try to leave a message on their talk page explaining what went wrong and what they could do to correct it. Now they won't make the same mistake again and they get to edit their information in. Everyone wins. So don't click the undo button so hastily when rules have been broken.

I hope you will take into account my suggestions, to make Wikipedia a nicer place for everyone. :)

What a lovely, patronising comment. The smiley face at the end really sold it. *applause*
Yes, I make a lot of reverts. Why wouldn't I?
It is not my job to go hunting for sources to verify what other editors add. If someone adds something, the onus is on them to provide the sources to back themselves up. I provide a source when I add information to articles; that's my end of the bargain held up. I have nearly 1,000 articles watchlisted – you think I'm going to search google when ever someone adds unsourced information to articles? Hate to break it to you, but my time on wikipedia is finite – as is most other editors'.
I will continue to remove unsourced information fom articles. If you don't like it, I don't particularly care. Of course, that doesn't preclude you from finding the sources.

I am really disappointed. I really meant well. But you refuse to get off your high horse to accomodate good-intentioned newbies. I'm not sure what to do. I know its not your job to do a little extra, but that is at the expense of being nicer to everyone. Starship.paint (talk) 23:16, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi Nici. I noticed you reviewed this article during its previous GA nomination. I've been working on it for the past weeks. I nominated it again and I thought you may be interested in reviewing it again. I'd be glad if you are since the article has no reviewer yet. --Gunt50 (talk) 22:11, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

Hey

OMG Nici how's it been? Of course I remember you how could I forget I would never forget :) Yeah, it has been so long, and yeah time has caught up with us which is not good. For me college ends next week which I'm happy about maybe I can actually come back to Wikipedia and resume the work I was doing lol You'll get a job I know it. Well, my job and college life has been stressing me thus me not being here like I once was. How bout you? No I don't think I did I just did like what the GA reviews wanted on the Bellas but not really major work on the others. 10? Wow, that's a great record for having GTs I'm so proud of that. Yeah, let's work on something in the summer I'm sure I'll have the time cause I do plan on coming back :) Yeah, let's work on something let me know what it is. BTW, are you finding Randy hot with his beard? I know I am ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:49, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Sorry for the late reply been busy studying for my exams not fun stuff. Yeah, been off for a while need to be stressed free for a bit so that I can for the first time EVER focus on school. Oh and school ends tomorrow so after tomorrow I will be back and better than ever. :) IDK I got an e-mail alert telling me that you changed my talkpage and so I went to check it out and saw that you wrote me your first message so I needed to reply right away. IDK I've lost count of all my accomplishments on Wikipedia lol Ah, yeah I'll check the discussion in Ziggler's page. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:41, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

Good Article promotion

Congratulations!
Thanks for all the work you did in making Ken Anderson (wrestler) a certified "Good Article"! Your work is much appreciated.

In the spirit of celebration, you may wish to review one of the Good Article nominees that someone else nominated, as there is currently a backlog, and any help is appreciated. All the best, – Quadell (talk)
