Peer Review[edit]

When following the lead, I definitely feel that I know the importance of this topic. I believe that the main point of this article is to highlight Allen Iverson's basketball career, however, the lead weighs much more heavily on that than things about Iverson outside of the game of basketball. The sections in the article are organized well and fluently. They are read in chronological order which makes sense given this is a biography. Although there is almost no mention of his early life or personal life in the lead, those sections have a lot of depth. I think some mention of his struggles in life off the court incorporated in to the lead could be helpful to readers. In the personal life section of this article, it almost seems as if the writer is against Iverson in some way. Nothing positive is written about his life outside of basketball, only the negative and controversial events of his life outside of basketball. I believe the writer is trying to convince readers that Iverson was a terrible person who could never get his life in order. I support your idea to add the famous "practice" rant that Iverson delivered in a press conference. For many people, this is their first thought when thinking of Allen Iverson, which makes it relevant to the article. This article has a lot of sources that well support the ideas written in the article. I believe the article does a great job at highlighting the talented player that Iverson was. However, to me, it seems a little biased when it comes to the personal life section. I think if you correct some of this bias and add the famous "practice" rant, the article will be much better.
