The article Father Cormrac,Antram has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Navajo-speaking priests are not inherently notable. Unreferenced article, unable to establish notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Navajo Code Talker: Calvin Henderson Murphy. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Calvin Henderson Murphy. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Calvin Henderson Murphy – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. reddogsix (talk) 00:35, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A note about original research[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Cormac Antram, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. In this case, "original research" also means things you may know from personal knowledge that aren't mentioned in the cited sources.--Arxiloxos (talk) 00:41, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism warning for Navajo Nation Reconstructed Flag[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Navajo Nation Reconstructed Flag with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. George BarnickTalk/Contribs 04:50, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please cite sources[edit]

People want to be able to verify information on Wikipedia. So, significant edits need have their content cited using reliable sources. See verifiablity. This means that information must be published, and presumably vetted, by reliable groups and individuals. What you should do is to locate a source that supports the edit you wish to make. Then add a citation to that. Peruse wp:welcome to learn about editing Wikipedia. You can also visit the Teahouse for information and assistance. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Welcome and Happy editing! Jim1138 (talk) 05:55, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Navajo language additions[edit]

Hi, Navahoindian! Thank you so much for contributing to Wikipedia. I noticed that you are adding Navajo translations for article titles on multiple articles. Keep in mind, this is the English language version of Wikipedia. If, in the interest of inclusion, other editors who spoke different languages all added their own language translations for the titles, the encyclopedia would quickly become very unwieldy indeed. I understand why you have added these, but your additions are simply not appropriate, since it is improper to only list one translation, and not all. It's simply not feasible to list all translations. —Josh3580talk/hist 05:56, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Cougar. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jim1138 (talk) 06:03, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Elk.  —Josh3580talk/hist 06:22, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to town names in Arizona[edit]

I notice you have modified many Arizona town articles to modify the names to include a non-english name. It's possible the information is of interest (although you MUST provide a citation), but it definitely does not belong in the titles or infoboxes in the main names. Perhaps this information should be placed in a standalone paragraph citing the historical meaning of the non-english name (why is it relevant, where is it documented, which language is it in, ...). Regards, Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 06:39, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Sanders, Arizona, Navajo Nation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". A tag has been placed on Calvin Henderson Murphy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Disambiguation link notification for April 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Humphreys Peak, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Navajo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sanders, Arizona[edit]

I reverted an edit you made earlier today which looked like a mistake. It inserted an example gallery into the middle of a reference (indeed, breaking the date into two parts), which made no sense. I suspect an inadvertent save. Regards, Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 05:55, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ed Lee Natay[edit]

Hello Navajoindian,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ed Lee Natay for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Staglit (talk) 22:21, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Staglit, the speedy was declined by somebody else because the article asserted credible notability, but a little later I speedied it as an unambiguous copyright violation. See below. Bishonen | talk 00:29, 22 April 2014 (UTC).[reply]

Stop icon Hi. I have deleted your article Ed Lee Natay because the text was a copy of this webpage. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Humphreys Peak. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. —BarrelProof (talk) 15:06, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I see that the Humphreys Peak edits were later partly restored by the reverting user, so at least some of that editing appears to have been intended constructively. However, such additions should really be supported by cited reference material. You have shown a consistent pattern of not doing that, and I strongly suggest that if you want to add lasting value to Wikipedia, you should learn how to cite sources and start doing so. —BarrelProof (talk) 15:52, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your edits to Rainbow Bridge National Monument, the parameter that you added, "other_name", is not a valid parameter of the template:infobox protected area, so your addition had no effect. Considering that problem and your continuing pattern of adding unsourced material to Wikipedia, I reverted the addition. —BarrelProof (talk) 15:39, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

May 2014: blocked[edit]

Hello, Navajoindian. I understand you're editing in good faith and trying to help Wikipedia, but you have ignored all warnings and advice about giving sources for the content you add, and instead tried to edit war that content into the articles. In the long run, this is not acceptable, and unfortunately I've had to block you from editing for three days. When you return from the block, please be more responsive to comments on this page and do try to add some sources, otherwise you'll soon be blocked for a longer period. You can read about reliable sources here. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Disambiguation link notification for September 6[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chee Dodge, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page St. Michael's Mission.
