I am Richard's son Bruce. Thank you so much for this page. I do have a question though. There is a line where he received a posthumous award but it seems that it was cut short. Is there a way you can finish the sentence? Also if you know of any other awards given to him I would be very grateful. Like you posted all of his records were lost in the fire. All the information I have received has been through family and friends of his/ours. He was well regarded by his superior officers. There is also a photograph of him at a dinner with NATO generals I have a copy of. Should you come across ANY thing else I would sincerely appreciate it. I have tried so many sources myself and you seemed to find information I couldn't find. I've even tried the AFFOIA. Thank you so much, Bruce Tachibana67.236.26.34 (talk) 11:30, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi Bruce, I'm a friend of Evelyn's which is how I knew about your dad.If you could scan and upload the photo that would be great. Your mother also had a nice photo of your Dad next to an F-100 which would be good to put into the article. Mztourist (talk) 13:03, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
