David Healy[edit]

A tabloid such as The Sun reporting nothing but gossip & rumours is not suitable for an article about a living person - please have a read of WP:RS and WP:BLP. Regards, GiantSnowman 12:41, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As I previously stated, it's an accepted source on innumerable articles, and I see no reason why this case is any different? MyStruggle (talk) 10:17, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
WP:RS states "Articles should be based on reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy" - not the case of any tabloid newspaper, especiallywhen it comes to living people. GiantSnowman 10:26, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So you are saying that all references to this source are unreliable when it relates to living people, and should be removed? MyStruggle (talk) 23:23, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Personally, yes. For wider consensus/comment, I would advise posting at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard to see if others agree/disagree with me. GiantSnowman 09:29, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
