Nomination of Mortad (band) for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Mortad (band) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mortad (band) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Not seeing any reason it should have been deleted from the rules I can see. I was aware it had been removed a while back. Seems entirely unreasonable but I'm too late to do anything about it. There was a heated situation with one of the band members and I have vague suspicions that that person might have had an influence here. I checked out all the 'should your page be in wikipedia' guidelines before creating and got in touch with the band for sources etc. which were all discoverable at the time of article creation. meh.
