Welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Cindy and I serve the Wikipedia community as an Online Ambassador and one of the Steering Committee members that oversees the development and expansion of the program. I am also a long-time resident of Spokane, although I am currently in the Tri-Cities. While reviewing the course page, I noticed that the Feminist Thought course lacked an Online Ambassador, so I have signed on to offer assistance, as needed. Once your students have signed on to the course page, I will offer a welcome message. Once they indicate the articles they wish to develop, I will post a notice on the article's discussion page to notify the community. As a note, I have edited your course page, replacing the participation in the Public Policy Initiative with the United States Education Program. Laura, Adrian, and Zoe - Cindy is quite a catch for you. Most USEP classes could use one or more Wikipedia Online Ambassadors (WOL), and they typically come on board by volunteering themselves (because they see the class listed but with no attached online ambassadors, and can take on another class. Cindy is no doubt intrigued because you're all in the same region, as she points out. WOL's work to extend the influence of a class' CAs, and to be available when CAs cannot be. Adrian and Zoe, since you're very much in learning mode this term, I suggest you study up a bit on Online Ambassadors, and stay in touch with Cindy, so your activities complement each other.
