April 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page LaTour has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/latourvox, http://www.myspace.com/musicbylatour, http://www.myspace.com/latourproductions).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:36, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am being stalked and someone keeps putting the Squids band info on my page. The data that is listed about chart positions and discography are all lies.[edit]

How do I correct this issue about my page? I want no mention of the Squids on my page and this stalker is obsessed with me. The band did not do what this person is saying and barely existed. Please help me. Mmmohhmmm (talk) 02:42, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You need to add enough in-depth third-party sources overall to suggest solid independent notability for their own article, especially considering Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Squids (2nd nomination) was closed as merging to Joe LaTour's article. Sincerely, SwisterTwister talk 07:02, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Mmmohhmmm, please note that nobody "owns" any Wikipedia articles or content here, per Wikipedia's ownership policy. If you are the subject of this article and have an issue or dispute, then you need to contact the Wikipedia volunteer response team by clicking here. They have the proper tools and training necessary in verifying your identity and assisting you with your particular issue. Please note that continuing to edit the article and remove content continuously, as it appears that you've been doing, can constitute an edit war, which is disruptive behavior and can result in your account being blocked. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 12:37, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Bill LaTour videostill.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Bill LaTour videostill.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Nomination of The Squids for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Squids is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Squids (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Safiel (talk) 18:38, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Here to help[edit]

William, it looks like you asked for help about a year ago and didn't really get any. When you get a chance, please let me know what info is incorrect in the LaTour article and I'll fix it. Also, it might be easier if you added an e-mail address to your account so we could communicate that way. The Master ---)Vote Saxon(--- 15:55, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
