A belated welcome![edit]

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Mikehaas. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Mootros (talk) 05:26, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a place for you to advertise your book[edit]

Edits of yours like this are borderline bookspam. It's debatable that you're adding anything to the article; you're really just advertising your book. We would welcome your edits, especially considering your education and expertise, if only you would do more than abuse this platform. Chris Troutman (talk) 16:09, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Please do not edit Michael Haas (political scientist). Assuming from your username that you are Michael Haas, you should read WP:AUTOBIO. If you are not Haas, then your username is in violation of our user name policies (which disallow user names that might be thought of as impersonating public figures) and should be changed. —David Eppstein (talk) 21:15, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
