Hello,

Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.

Thanks! Aaronw 06:11, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced tag[edit]

Hi, I deleted your unreferenced tag on Chern-Weil homomorphism. After a somewhat extensive literature search, the only hard reference I could find was in a paper which mentions the result in passing. It is also mentioned in some unpublished mimeographed lecture notes by Shiing-shen Chern, who in turn refers the reader to an unpublished manuscript by Andre Weil. It would seem that Wikipedia now possesses the definitive treatment on at least one mathematical theorem.  ;-) Silly rabbit 21:36, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
