Scottish vs British nationality[edit]

Given your recent edit to the article on Nicola Sturgeon, you may find it useful to look at this essay: Wikipedia:Nationality of people from the United Kingdom. Note that this is not a policy or guideline, it merely discusses some issues regarding the apparent lack of consensus across Wikipedia on how someone's nationality should be described.

I'm not suggesting your edit to Nicola Sturgeon is necessarily wrong (I have no real opinion either way at present).
