I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Again, welcome! -- 李博杰  | Talk contribs email 05:37, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

A discussion has begun about whether the article List of 100% Entertainment episodes (2009), which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of 100% Entertainment episodes (2009) until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. TucsonDavid (talk) 16:47, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

You nominated Category:K-pop music groups templates for merging but used the wrong template. If you still wish to discuss merging the category please use the substed template {{cfm}}.--돌주먹 (talk) 06:45, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

I didn't nominate it for merging. --Michaela den (talk) 10:20, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Flagicons in band infoboxes

Please do not add flagicons to band infoboxes to represent the country of origin, as you did to Fahrenheit (Taiwanese band), as this goes against both Template:Infobox musical artist and WP:MOSICON. Aspects (talk) 17:09, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

Flagicons in television infoboxes

Please do not add flagicons to television infoboxes to represent the country of origin, as you did to Angel Lover, as this goes against both Template:Infobox television and WP:MOSICON. Aspects (talk) 14:09, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Point noted. When you edit the flag icons on such pages please make sure you change them to "Republic of China (Taiwan)", instead of "Republic of China" as you did to Angel Lover, as it is "An acceptable, NPOV alternative ... because it is a convention reached by consensus on the WP:CHINA discussion pages" as according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Chinese-language entertainment/Naming Conventions. Thank you.

Template of Mayday (Taiwanese Band)

Yes you may delete the template because I accidentally duplicated it. Gorillazfeelgoodinc, 10:48 20/01/2011 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:25, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for work on Chinese/Taiwanese entertainment-related articles!

Just wanted to say kudos to all your hard work creating and updating Chinese/Taiwanese entertainment-related articles. It has not gone unnoticed and is very much appreciated! Thanks! -Multivariable (talk) 19:25, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

What a lovely message! You are most kind. Thank you for your encouragement. Glad to hear that my edits are helpful and hopefully not annoy other users. Likewise you're helpful to me with reverting inapproiate edits, as this makes me feel I have an allied in that department. Keep up your good work too. Cheers --Michaela den (talk) 10:38, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Yoga Lin-Mystery Guest-cover.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Yoga Lin-Mystery Guest-cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 05:14, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

I do not know why this file has been tagged as 'orphaned' and for speedy delete F5 as unused unfree image, because it is not orphaned nor unused. The file is currently and has been in used in the article Mystery Guest, as stated in the Non-free media use rationale, nor has it been removed since the day it was uploaded on 20 May 2011 per revision history [1]. Please explain to me why it has been tagged or is there something else I've missed. Thank you.--Michaela den (talk) 13:22, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

Redirects

Per WP:NOTBROKEN, it is not necessary to "bypass redirects" as you did, for instance, here. Furthermore, your attempt to "fix" the redirect introduced a grammatical error into the article. rʨanaɢ (talk) 16:46, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

AfD

As we just find out that the hotel in question is a Grade II listed building, i wanted to ask you to maybe revise your voice. Thanks. --WhiteWriter speaks 10:18, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Done. Thankx for letting me know.--Michaela den (talk) 12:55, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
As this article is dear to me, as RMS Titanic fan, i added several sources, so your reason is no longer valid.. :) Maybe you want to see it once again? :) All best! --WhiteWriter speaks 17:25, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
It's good that you've found more sources. Don't worry I am not 'out to get you' nor your article. I am sure it is dear to you as with the articles I edit. My point is that it needed more references and now it has. I think closing admins are sensible enough to see that with the new refs my arguments does not apply anymore. We are not here to destroy other editors' pages but to work together to see that they are up to wiki standards. Happy editing and wish you well in your other edits. cheers--Michaela den (talk) 12:27, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: BMI Group (Hong Kong)

Hello Michaela den. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of BMI Group (Hong Kong), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Listed on the Hong Kong exchange. Notable? Perhaps not, but not a speedy under A7. Thank you. Courcelles 14:24, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

  • Thanks for picking that up. I did see the stock exchange listing and was going to PROD it as non-notable and an internet search did not turn up any independant sources nor any claims of notability, then I got distracted when I saw that another article with a similar name BM Intelligence Group by the same editor had already been nominated for speedy delete 5 days before this one was created. You are right not notable but not speedy A7 either. Sorry about that and thanks.--Michaela den (talk) 14:52, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Citations in Grace & Charm

I have appreciated your efforts of making the article's greatness possible. However, YesAsia is a shopping website, and the account of Kelly Concerto Club is suspended. I wonder if I can do the AfD again. --Gh87 (talk) 05:00, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

I have added another ref from Chen's official website to show that it exists (which is primary but OK to use per WP:ABOUTSELF) and another ref with two more awards won by the lead track. I don't know about the other deadlink refs because I didn't add them. I think this should be notable because of the awards that it has won but it is only my opinion, I have no objections to taking it to AfD to see what others think. I am intrigue ... since you created the article why do you now want to delete it instead of improving it?--Michaela den (talk) 12:16, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

eleventh and twelfth

Hello Michaela den, thank you very much for your edits. A little hint: Eleven and twelve are a little bit special numbers in english language, they are higher than ten, but they have names without -teen. Their ordinal numbers are eleventh and twelfth. Written as an number: 11th and 12th, but not 11st and 12nd. Best regards --Diwas (talk) 23:03, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

A little help with deletion please

Hello:

My name is Gerald del Campo. I am the CEO of The Order of Thelemic Knights, which apparently had a page on Wikipedia that was taken down in 2011. I have just become aware of this.

On the deletion page some one noted that our non-profit, tax-exempt organization is a "blatant hoax" as if the organization didn't exist. As the CEO of this organization, which works along side of The Red Cross and *many* other charities, I take exception to this (as would the IRS) as it doesn't appear as though the editors who reviewed the page took much care in researching it. Furthermore, there are articles on Wikipedia itself that reference pages written by our members on our website. We also do a fair bit of publishing, which can be verified with a quick search on Amazon.com - we are listed as a non-profit organization by the Oregon Secretary of State, where our headquarters resides. Quite frankly, I am disappointed that an organization that does the sort of work we do would be so easily blown off by your editors with so little research. The subject matter "Thelema" is subject to great political bias and manipulation by some Wikipedia editors who are members of a supposed competing organization. If you allow that sort of manipulation to continue, Wikipedia will no longer be a source of unbiased factual information.

I am asking you to reconsider reversing the decision to delete, and perhaps spend a little time understanding the sort of work that we have done, and continue to do for the greater good in the name of our chosen spiritual paradigm. If I have not followed the procedure to contest deletions properly, I must apologize in advance for not understanding the way Wikipedia works.

Please contact me with any questions you might have. I could even arrange a phone call if you prefer.

Sincerely, Gerald del Campo CEO Order of Thelemic Knights — Preceding unsigned comment added by Solis93 (talkcontribs) 22:03, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

  • Jonathan - Thankx for the heads up. cheers--Michaela den (talk) 14:57, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Without Hancinema and Dramabeans as Sources?

i should used sources of The Chousun ilbo ? i used Korean links of newsspapers such as Donga by --Sunuraju (talk) 10:34, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

Yes, Chosun Ilbo is good and I use the English version. What I do is, only use the Korean version if there are no English version of the news article, since English sources are preferred in Wiki per WP:NONENG, of course only if they are reliable per WP:SOURCES. For example: Korea Times, Korea Herald, The Chosun Ilbo, Don-A Ilbo, JoongAng Daily, The Hankyoreh, KBS World and others that I can't remember at the moment. Though some of these do not give the writers' name thus may be claim that it's not reliable enough. Also just a hint while I am talking to you, "it is considered good practice to provide a summary for every edit" per Help:Edit summary. Happy editing.--Michaela den (talk) 12:14, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

Need Help please

  • I'm sorry to say that I agree with the proposer that it should be deleted. He/she is clear about the reason for the WP:PROD but should have also state the guidlines to help you understand. When he/she state that "Wikipedia is not a newspaper" here is the Wiki policy WP:NOTNEWSPAPER explaining why. Yes the topic is covered by multiple reliable sources "but not every incident that gains media coverage will have or should have a Wikipedia article. A rule of thumb for creating a Wikipedia article is whether the event is of lasting, historical significance" as per Wikipedia:Notability (events). There isn't enough information to jusitfy an article of its own. Even tough it refers to specify events but it doesn't have names, school invloved etc hence appear very general. If you want to keep the information and ref, it is might be suited for Education in South Korea under the "Controversy". Likewise this applies to similar articles that have also been PROD: Anyang child murders and Suwon Murder Case.--Michaela den (talk) 16:03, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

PROD of Milyang Group Gang Rape

Hello -- I just wanted to let you know that I have (apparently at the eleventh hour) contested your PROD of Milyang Group Gang Rape and have given my reason for doing so in the edit summary. If anything needs clearing up please let me know. --Tyrannus Mundi (talk) 04:07, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

I have done the same for Jecheon AIDS Crime (and have noted the reason in the edit summary). I notice another editor also contested the PROD for Nayoung Case. Your rationale given in each case was WP:NOTNEWSPAPER but the guidelines there don't really apply in any of these cases, and they all fulfil the relevant WP:EVENT criterion of receiving wide national coverage with extended analysis. --Tyrannus Mundi (talk) 09:09, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

Movies to released on Fall

Hi,

You moved Deranged (2012 film) to Deranged (film) stating "not necessary to dab by year as there are no other films with the same title per WP:NC-FILM". However, there was already an article about the 1974 film at Deranged that you knew about (as you edited it).

I'm not sure I follow the logic- perhaps you misinterpted WP:NC-FILM? There are still two films from different years (even if one of them didn't have the year in its article title).

Anyway, I've reverted the move, and also moved the 1974 film to Deranged (1974 film).

Thanks for uploading File:Flower Boy Ramyun Shop-poster.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
