Advance fee fraud[edit]

mewecleff, you are not removing that anymore. Nigeria has 419 schemes. That is a fact. Do not try to hide it. WhisperToMe 19:22, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

August 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Igbo people has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. - Jameson L. Tai talkcontribs 09:27, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mewecleff: Thank you for your input on the Igbo people page on wikipedia, but there is no evidence that it's the Igbo community abroad that is responsible for some of these activities, rather it is the Igbo people in Nigeria as stated in your sources. Further more the source you have selected is the authors personal opinion and is not official. This is considered Original research which is not required in wikipedia articles.

Thank you. Ukabia (talk)

419 = Igbo people[edit]

Mewecleff, every community has it's criminals. Attributing a certain kind of criminal activity is down to one ethnic group without credible sources is not helpful and could be considered offensive. I might as well add the stereotype that Igbo people are money hungry backstabbers. I'm not saying it's not true, but if your going to add this to a page, I don't mind you adding it to the Nigerian Scams page. Ukabia (talk)

Addition of 419 material to Igbo people[edit]

It's been explained to you several times why this material isn't appropriate in this article. Please stop re-adding it, or it will be considered vandalism and you will risk being blocked. Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 03:24, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Further addition of the Igbo people being "criminals"[edit]

"Whilst commended for their entrepreniual spirit, the Igbo people are reported to be over-represented in criminal activities amongst Nigerians" Law and justice in post-British Nigeria. Greenwood Publishing Group, Westport,USA. 2002. pp. 16–20. ISBN 9-780-31331-3080.

Why do you insist o come back and vandalise the Igbo people page, this is not helpful and your edits have a lack of good sources and are inaccurate (there is no proof that the Igbo people are over represented in crime, this is ethnic rivalry) even "whilst" in considered too formal on an American English article. Please look at articles such as Egyptians and Greeks to see how ethnic group articles are handled. Your edits have been removed. Please don't add them again. This is the fifth time you've been warned. -- Ukabia (talk) 09:48, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
