February 2015[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Jimbo Wales, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 16:19, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi would you mind clarifying this? I have no memory of this at all. Metalmunki81 (talk) 22:11, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Here. --NeilN talk to me 22:18, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I can see I added comment (line 84, the bottom of 'gamergate redux) I'm not sure what else I'm supposed to be looking at? Metalmunki81 (talk) 22:23, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That link shows all the differences between your version and the prior version. So somehow you deleted a bunch of other people's comments and re-added a few that were archived. Maybe you edited an older version of the talk page? --NeilN talk to me 22:52, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, that certainly wasn't deliberate. I've no idea how that could've happened, but I'll change my password just incase someone else has access to my account. Thanks for the heads up! Metalmunki81 (talk) 13:47, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
