As far as the question you asked at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2007 March 12/Zorpia, I will do my best to answer it.

Here is what happened to the Zorpia article: After it was created, an editor nominated it for possible deletion based on the apparent lack of its meeting the inclusion criteria of Wikipedia:Notability (web). Then, after other editors discussed the issue at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Zorpia and agreed with the nominator, the article was deleted by an administrator (who had no involvement up until that point). Then, another editor who disagreed with the deletion asked for a review of that decision, which took place on the page you saw at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2007 March 12/Zorpia. Finally, after further discussion there, the consensus of participating editors was that the deletion was appropriate.

Your and other Zorpia supporters' frustration may stem from Wikipedia's use of the word "notable". When we say notable, we do not mean important, useful, or popular. We mean that the subject has been noted by multiple, reliable, third-party published sources. So, for example, if The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal had published articles of which Zorpia was the primary subject, it would easily meet the inclusion criteria. For more information, please read Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Attribution. There is also a personal essay at User:Uncle G/On notability which is very helpful.

I hope this answers your question. If and when Zorpia is covered by major news outlets, someone should write a well-sourced article and resubmit it to Wikipedia:Deletion review. Again, welcome and happy editing! -- Satori Son 15:41, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
