I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. May 2011[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for continuing your WP:POINTy deletions in spite of explicit warning. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Favonian (talk) 11:37, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I was too hasty. Your deletion of the boxer/rapper from 1987 was appropriate, as the person had no article. But seriously: discuss this on a talk page instead of continuing your campaign. Favonian (talk) 11:42, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To Favonian[edit]

Please respect the previous discussion, on Ttonyb1's talk page. Megamethamphetamine (talk) 11:40, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see any discussion there, and in any case, please observe that your actions have been repeatedly contested by different editors. You are therefore engaged in an edit war. Finally, be careful with your edit summaries. They seem to indicate that you accuse others of vandalism where this is not warranted. Favonian (talk) 11:45, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OH, I've forgotten that - was removed due to my request. At least one person has stated that I'm right, in particular about my edits on 1987. Do you thinki I'm wrong? Megamethamphetamine (talk) 11:54, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
One problem is that the definition of "recent years" is not at all clear. WP:RY only mentions 2009 and 2010 as examples but fails to provide a precise definition. I don't have particularly strong opinions on this matter, but I do have a problem with the way you have been carrying on. Therefore, please follow my advise and stop the wholesale deletions. Favonian (talk) 12:02, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, and what the above "unblock" means? I've still been blocked. Megamethamphetamine (talk) 12:07, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's strange. I unblocked you after two minutes. What does it say when you try to edit for instance WP:Sandbox? Favonian (talk) 12:10, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Still been blocked. I'm unable to edit any pages except here, i.e. I see "View source" instead of "Edit".
Hmm, I did check for auto-blocks and found none. Please try to click here and report what it says. Favonian (talk) 12:25, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(e/c)How about now? There was an autoblock on your IP but I've lifted that now. You should be able to edit. Woody (talk) 12:28, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Woody! Wonder why I couldn't find it when I did this search. Favonian (talk) 12:32, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Hila Elmalich.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Hila Elmalich.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 08:24, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Hideo Mizoshita.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Hideo Mizoshita.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. 廣九直通車 (talk) 13:33, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
