Welcome![edit]

Hello, Mastrofran, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Before you work on an article....[edit]

Dear Mastrofran: Editors at Wikipedia have much trouble with student homework projects. Please see this So be careful. Suggestions:

  • Announce your intended changes on Talk page of the article you plan to edit.
  • cite only secondary or tertiary references see WP:SECONDARY.

If your instructor is not at least somewhat experienced with Wikipedia, there is a good chance that your edits will not be accepted. Pass this advice on to your instructor and fellow students. --Smokefoot (talk) 17:43, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
