Hi Eartha - I took a shot at rewriting this to encyclopedia standards, and added several references. Many existing references were repeats. I was happy to prove the museum claims. I was advised by admins to remove the photos of current pieces as advertising. You are welcome to review and expand or rewrite from scratch. --MJH (talk) 21:07, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rudi Patterson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Professionals. Mentor

Hiya! I've been matched with you! Let me know if there is anything I can help you with! Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:12, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi, thanks so much for your message! So how does this mentoring thing work?? Where do we start? I'm mostly interested in contributing articles about people and organsiations, and improve my knowledge of good article criteria. Eartha78 (talk) 10:54, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

  • We can start pretty much whereever you want - do you have a specific type of organization or person you want to write about? If so, do they already have an article or would they need a new one to be written? If it's a new article, we should probably start off at AfC or in your userspace so we can take our time going through things. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:57, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi, I know its been a long time but I finally got around to publishing a couple of articles. Are you still willing to review them as a mentor? Links below. Thanks. Rita Keegan Ras Daniel Heartman

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Contests

User:Dr. Blofeld has created Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/Contests. The idea is to run a series of contests/editathons focusing on each region of Africa. He has spoken to Wikimedia about it and $1000-1500 is possible for prize money. As someone who has previously expressed interest in African topics, would you be interested in contributing to one or assisting draw up core article/missing article lists? He says he's thinking of North Africa for an inaugural one in October. If interested please sign up in the participants section of the Contest page, thanks.♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:17, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

Hello. I've revamped the contest page into this, based on the new British model. Long term goal, but I've added entries since the beginning of July to give it some initial life. Please add anything you've done then this then too! I hope it proves productive long term. The contests are still planned, but will be more tools towards increasing bulk output in overall goal. It's a permanent goal now, and open! I would be grateful if you could keep a record of all your articles you do there, as I really think seeing the combined efforts will encourage others to create more content too! Please spread the word to the others, cheers!♦ Dr. Blofeld 09:23, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
