Spiral model‎[edit]

Thanks for translating the Spiral model image. I also started that translation but you beat me. -- Mdd (talk) 19:30, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for clearing up the copyright issue! If you would like to improve/change the translation just holler. got the editable file still around. --Marctroy (talk) 21:13, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I started translating also, but now I think of it: Why not just look at the original, who was probably in English in the first place? I found one immediately, when I started looking for images on Google, see here. Maybe you can make a comparison on your own. I know little about language. I do wonder though, why you didn't save it as a .svg file. This is most common with these files. And then everybody can easily translate them in there own language. If you update one I will translate it in my native language "Dutch". Good luck. -- Mdd (talk) 21:41, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see, yeah the "original" will help to finalize the english version. Regarding the .svg: This is all quite new to me. I just felt like helping out and add a translation. Since the German version was a .png I thought it's alright to stick to the original. I'll try to setup an .svg the next days and upload it, maybe even redo the German version and save it as .svg - I'd have to repaint the spiral anyways, so why not also make the German version also editable. Thanks for your feedback. --Marctroy (talk) 12:12, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I think one English svg file will do. Wikipedians from other languages can use that one to translate it into their own language. -- Mdd (talk) 19:55, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
