Greetings Marclowe06! Perhaps if you are new to Wikipedia, I can help you. Let me know if I am wrong, though, too! This template, although many people don't take the time to really check it out (including myself, initially) --it has the answers to most questions and policies for editing and understanding the Wikipedia. I hope it is helpful to you.

I noticed that you began the biographical article for the Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band. One fundamental part of editing here is to try not to WP:OWN, and thus, I'm hoping you'll be willing to help with the other articles as well that Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi have had and their other musicial associations. Other editors began articles for Yonrico Scott, and Scrapomatic, and I did a (very poor job of) adding to both The Derek Trucks Band and had only just begun an aricle for Mike Mattison after Trucks disbanded his former group. I have been the lead editor (and mostly the primary editor) for the Derek Trucks article. Hopefully, you'll be willing to help all the above listed articles! There's a treasure trove of information that can assist with the new article you created as well as the others that I moved to their talk pages, and the article for Susan Tedeschi has a fairly detailed site which her proud father has assembled with lots of info never even examined. Finally, I have a bunch of resources for references in one of my sandboxes and main part of my user page. Feel free! I edit about 6-12 articles at a time, having ADHD, and spend perhaps 50% of my time uploading photos (over 700 now) of musicians --I keep a list also available by clicking a link on my userpage- I've uploaded a LOT of photos of their bands and The Allman Brothers Band members too. OK! When I began editing the en.Wikipedia, I was so disgusted with how few biography articles had photos! So now I do more of the photos and cleanup after others just as much as the editing... but as with Derek Trucks, after a while, it's hard to maintain perspective after looking at my own work too much. It's great you are willing to join in! I did upload all but one photo of people in Derek's and Susan's bands, most of The Allman Brothers Band's current lineup, Oteil Burbridge, Gov't Mule, etc. If you take a look at my userpage, at the top left, below the barnstars there are the entry points to two sandboxes. At the bottom of the first one is a great guide to uploading photos to Wikimedia Commons, and at the bottom of the second one is a list of references also. The best way to upload photos is via Flickr, which I've used exclusively. Did you take the photo(s) you want to upload? Where are they from.. are you the photographer?
