DBTI[edit]

I rescued Image:BoscoTechBand.jpg Can you fix the details to make it correct? Thanks! --evrik (talk) 02:13, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Look at how I edited the image. I put specific details. When uploading an image you have to be specific on where it came from and what the copyright is. Also, if you are going to load images, that are free, you should add them to the commons rather than wikipedia. --evrik (talk) 02:35, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Is the licensing correct? Well, you took the picture, right? You own the image, right? Maybe you should read Wikipedia:Copyrights.--evrik (talk) 02:45, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just reverted your reversion. Before you start an edit war. I suggest you take any further changes to the talk page. Thanks. --evrik (talk) 02:38, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Many of your edits don't meet the WP MOS. I suggest you read that. It's linked above. Also, your editing is not neutral, is kinda spammy and sounds like an advertisement. I'm trying to work with you here. Please do not revert me again. If you do so you will be close to 3RR. Thanks. --evrik (talk) 14:35, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • The style of the writing is important, but so is the way the page is laid out. I just checked the school's website, and they feature the gear prominently. The other is more appropriate in the sports section. The writign needs to be more concise.--evrik (talk) 03:35, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Your reference to time frames is like me saying, "well because you're in high school it now becomes obvious why you can't write and can't seem to read the style manual." The article should be neutral in tone, and not a puff piece. I've tried to edit more heavily. As for the seal/logo ... I think that the seal is the best for the top of the page, but as can see, there is room for both. --evrik (talk) 04:31, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • I understand that the article can use some expansion, especially in the history section. I also understand that writing on the schools curriculum helps people understand what the school is doing. I am not going to agree to any “deals.” Your edits need to meet the standards, otherwise I will edit them myself.

There is no official documentation about what the “correct” logo is. As far as I can tell, they are both used. Right now, both are in the article. Happy editing. --evrik (talk) 15:45, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 03:14, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I would agree with sine bot. --evrik (talk) 03:35, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Could you please make sure you either leave your comments under the correct header, or start a new section? --evrik (talk) 15:46, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:DBTIArchConstr.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:DBTIArchConstr.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:21, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
