A tag has been placed on Fabric structures, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Fabric structures and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornixtalk 21:40, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008[edit]

The recent edit you made to Clear span constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. Q T C 21:46, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

When contesting a CSD[edit]

you do not remove the CSD template. You add {{hangon}} below it, not replacing it. Q T C 21:47, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't forget that after adding a {{hangon}} tag you should also "then explain why you believe this article should not be deleted on its talk page. This will alert administrators to permit you the time to write your explanation.". Cheers, Nk.sheridan   Talk 21:53, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So in the case of Clear span, line 1 would read like this {{db-ad}} {{hangon}} {{coi}} Nk.sheridan   Talk 21:56, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

One editor, one account[edit]

As per your comments on the Clear span talkpage i'd just suggest you have a look at the wikipedia policy as regards WP:Sock puppetry. To sum up this WP:POLICY you must not create new accounts in order to circumvent other polices, mislead others or create the illusion of greater support for an issue. If you've got any questions don't hesitate to ask! Thanks, Nk.sheridan   Talk 22:30, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

user name block[edit]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because of concerns that the chosen username may not meet our username policy.
This is often not a reflection on the user, and you are encouraged to choose a new account name which does meet our guidelines and are invited to contribute to Wikipedia under an appropriate username. If you feel this block was made in error, you may quickly and easily appeal it - see below.

Our username policy provides guidance on selecting your username. In brief, usernames should not be offensive, disruptive, promotional, related to a 'real-world' group or organization, confusing, or misleading.

If you have already made edits and wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name you may request a change in username. To do so, please follow these directions:

  1. Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note, you may only request a name that is not already in use. The account is created upon acceptance – do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change since we can far easier allocate your new name to you, if it is not yet used. Usernames that have already been taken are listed here. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username. Keep in mind, though, that creating a new account is much faster and easier.
Last, the automated software systems that prevent vandalism may have been activated, which can cause new account creation to be blocked also. If you have not acted in a deliberately inappropriate manner, please let us know if this happens, and we will deactivate the block as soon as possible. You may also appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.
