Help me![edit]

Please help me with... How can my page I made get published? its still in draft mode Draft:Gangster Land

Mafia Don1989 (talk) 21:26, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

For drafts, you can submit them to be reviewed, and if accepted, by adding {{subst:Submit}} to the article. After you do, within a few weeks (sometimes faster) an editor will come by and review the article and determine whether it can be published in the encyclopedia.
But, before you do:
Understand that the article will be checked for a number of things:
  1. that the text hasn't been taken from another copyrighted source
  2. that the article isn't an advertisement or promotion
  3. that what the article says is verified by reliable, secondary sources, and
  4. that there are enough reliable, secondary sources in the article that discuss the subject of the article in depth to show that the topic of the article to meet what we (possibly confusingly) call our general notability guideline. For topics such as movies, you'll generally be looking for a couple of reputable magazine reviews of the film to satisfy the criteria. It's also worth mentioning that Wikipedia's policies do not consider IMDB a reliable source. It can be included as an external site, but it doesn't help meet the notability guideline.
I realize that's a lot to take in, if you'd like more in-depth help, I strongly recommend the WP:Teahouse. Best of luck! --joe deckertalk 21:41, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
