Copyright. Some stuff is copyrighted, meaning you can't use it unless you have permission from the owner of that piece of work. You may also want to look here WP:COPYRIGHT for more information about Wikipedia's policy. You are not allowed to post lyrics from songs, it's just one of the rules. Idenitfying copyright status?[edit]

Yes, I'd like to know how to identify the copyright status of an image. How do I know about the image's copyright?

Often the website will have some information about its copyright, else you may contact the owner. Some pictures, such as magazine covers, film posters, etc can be used under fair use. You can also tell me which picture you're referring to and I can help you identify the correct status. Also, please sign your comments with four ~ (~~~~). Thanks! ArbCom 2019 election voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
