It appears that you tried to give Tangled: The Series a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Please immediately revert your move of Unbreakable (film series) to Eastrail 177 trilogy. Did you not consult the talkpage before making such a move? Why would you think it's okay to move something like this without first gaining consensus? There was a discussion about such a move, and consensus was firmly against it; ergo, your move is in violation of consensus. I suggest you undo it right away. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Artemis Fowl and the Last Guardian a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Hey there - I went ahead and performed the page move so Artemis Fowl is now at its correct location. Additionally I saw the decline notice above for Skullduggery Pleasant. I am quite confident that at least some, if not all, of the books are individually notable and so you could definitely create some individual articles there if you wished. I do agree with DGG that the novella is likely not independently notable and should be covered in the series article as opposed to a stand alone article. Not only did you not discuss this move with anyone, but you also mis-spelled the mov "originaltrilogy" should at least have a space. Jacen Solo

Just a note, I reverted your edits (mostly) and your move because a page should only contain information on one character, not multiple characters that happen to have the same name (unless they are essentially the same character, e.g. Grand Admiral Thrawn). Jacen Syndulla is already mentioned at List of Star Wars Rebels characters#Hera_Syndulla and that is sufficient, considering there is nothing else to know about the character. Jacen Syndulla already redirects there as well. I'll add a hatnote to Jacen Solo about it as well. Regards SoWhy 16:09, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

I don't think so. Filoni said the name was "to honor the expanded universe character of Jacen Solo", not for this character to be the canon version of Jacen Solo. He also said "maybe, in some way, that lives on through this character. I don’t know yet", indicating that there is no plan to have this character live the same life or indeed re-appear at all. Also, with completely different parents and backstory, the similarities end with the name (according to Wookiepedia there are five characters named "Jacen" in all and none share the same article).

Speaking in-universe, Jacen Syndulla would have been ~30 years old when The Force Awakens takes place in 34 ABY. Jacen Solo was 31 years old when he turned to the Dark Side in 40 ABY (EU continuity), so if Jacen Syndulla was supposed to emulate Jacen Solo's life and downfall, it would have to have happened at approximately the same time as The Force Awakens and there is nothing to suggest that.

Using an example from Doctor Who, before 2005, the Shalka Doctor was the official 9th incarnation of The Doctor but was relegated to non-canon afterwards and the 9th Doctor took his place. Despite both being the 9th Doctor at some point, there are two different articles since they are not the same incarnation.

Sorry for the long fan-boyish post, to make it short, unless you can provide a reliable source that says those are the same character, we should keep them separate. To use the aforementioned example of Thrawn, the sources explicitly confirm that he is to be the same character ("reintroduced", 'reintroduced", "joins...canon"). I see you moved the content of Evil Horde back to List of She-Ra: Princess of Power and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power characters#The Horde. The only reason I originally moved it to a separate article in April 2019 was because the same content had been present in both the current target article and the article about Masters of the Universe characters, and they had then developed independently. So we had two different versions of the same content. The current situation is acceptable, but if the Masters of the Universe character list starts to have a list of Evil Horde characters again, we need to take this into account.
