Effective potential

  link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effective_potential
Sources: 1. chapter 14, Motion in a central field, in Mechanics by L.D. Landau and E.M. Lifshitz.
           2. Effective potential theory for diffusion in binary ionic mixtures, by Nathaniel R. Shaffer, etc., Phys. Rev. E, 2017. https://journals.aps.org/pre/pdf/10.1103/PhysRevE.95.013206
           3. Functional evaluation of the effective potential, by R. Jachiw, Phys. Rev. D, 1973, https://journals.aps.org/prd/pdf/10.1103/PhysRevD.9.1686
Advantages: First, I am familiar with the concept, effective potential, in classical mechanics.
Second, I found some notable and reliable references.
Third, effective potential is a very interesting and important concept in classical mechanics, and now it has developed more meanings in other fields, such as diffusion in the second reference.
Disadvantage: First, this concept is hard to find a clear definition.
Second, generally speaking, it is just a concept we derived to simplify the system and can have applications in so many situations that they are difficult to be explained in detail.

Huaiyang cuisine

  link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huaiyang_cuisine
Sources: 1. The stories behind the food, containing 8 little stories. http://wshuaian.org/show.asp?id=3296
           2. The story between Enlai Zhou, the first Prime Minister in China, and the Huaiyang meatball. http://wshuaian.org/show.asp?id=3582
           3. The legend of Yulanpian, a special Huaiyang food made from magnolia. http://wshuaian.org/show.asp?id=3276
Advantages: First, this is a topic I am very familiar with and I am very interested in it.
Second, I can find many reliable resources from the official website of my hometown.
Third, stories are attractive and easier to tell than other materials.
Disadvantages: First, the materials are in Chinese, so I need to 'translate' them in English (not just translate, but also reconstruct).
Second, to build a new section in this paper, I need to think more about the structure.
