The article Valentina Agius Gaylord has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Conflict of Interest[edit]

Hello MVGaylord. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Mitch Gaylord, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Ebikeguy (talk) 15:09, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

March 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. You have removed content twice from Mitch Gaylord without explanation. Please stop. Further reverts may lead to your being blocked from editing. Ebikeguy (talk) 15:31, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You appear to be engaged in an edit war. If you revert again, you will be in violation of Wikipedia's edit warring policies, and you will be blocked from editing. Ebikeguy (talk) 16:55, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Mitch Gaylord, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Wikipedia does not care what you think of the content, only that it is relevant and properly sourced. Sorry but you can't wish away reality. Roger (talk) 11:56, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Final Warning for Edit Warring[edit]

You appear to be engaged in an edit war at Mitch Gaylord. If you revert again, you will be in violation of Wikipedia's 3RR rule, and you will be blocked from editing. If you object to the language being inserted into the article, please bring up your concerns on the article's talk page. Thanks. Ebikeguy (talk) 16:58, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IMBD may have wrong info[edit]

I followed a link to the internet movie database that may have wrong information related to contentious information you have noted in wikipedia. They have no citations on it as well the rotten tomatoes website. You may wish to contact them about either correcting, citing, or removing it.--Canoe1967 (talk) 17:55, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. You do not own any article on Wikipedia, and have no right to dictate the contents of any article, even if the article is about you. Wikipedia exists to provide independent third-party documentation of publicly sourced information on notable subjects. Helping people to control or restrict content because they don't like it is no part of Wikipedia's mission. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Heartfelt advice from an experienced Wikipedian[edit]

As an experienced editor who has helped a number of "celebrities" with privacy and other problems with their biographies on Wikipedia, please listen carefully to my advice.

If you are indeed Gaylord... be aware that pruning uncomfortable material from your biography article isn't just in breach of our COI rules, as others have menioned, above, but can have exactly the opposite effect of what you are trying to achieve.

Please read the article I've linked to. You might also want to show it to any friends you have who have Wikipedia biographies. --Dweller (talk) 12:28, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
