Michael Jackson pictures[edit]

Hi, I see you've been uploading and adding some pictures to the Michael Jackson article. Wikipedia has very strict guidelines about using images -- put very simply, scans, publicity photos, album covers and screen captures are unlikely to make the cut if there are public domain or freely licensed pictures available, which in Jackson's case there are. Simply claiming 'fair use' won't cut it, and it's quite likely those images will be deleted without a rationale. Sorry to be so discouraging, but the policy is very clear. Copyrighted and fair use images[edit]

Please read Wikipedia's policies on copyright and fair use before you add any more images. You cannot upload images to Wikipedia unless you are the copyright holder. If you have not taken the image yourself with your own camera, you are not the copyright holder and it almost certainly cannot be uploaded to Wikipedia. I can assure you, that poster isn't the UK one. Your userpage indicates you're in the US, but I can tell you from firsthand experience and a couple of months of searching online that that poster wasn't used in the UK. The UK version of what you uploaded is this, but to my knowledge the box art dimension posters are preferable to those in any case.
