Home Wiki?[edit]

I want to merge all my wiki accounts... However, It'll automatically make the French wikipedia my home wiki (as it's where I made the most contributions), and I don't want to... Anyone know what can I do have the English part as my home wiki ? Ideeman1994 (talk) 17:12, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • As I understand it, the home wiki is indeed determined according to most contributions made, during the global account creation process. You would need to first delete the global "Ideeman1994" account (done by stewards). When this is complete, all the various local "Ideeman1994" accounts will remain, albeit unconnected. You would then need to have the French account deleted (along with any others, if they have more edits than at en.wiki). Once the accounts with higher edits are deleted, you can merge your accounts to a new global account, with the en.wiki as your home wiki. Hope this helps... but do you really want to delete your French account? Best regards, Cind.amuse (Cindy) 18:01, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Thanks a lot for the quick answer... Indeed, I don't want to delete my french account, but I didn't make a global account yet... I think I'll just keep on making contributions on the English wiki, while using less the french version... Ideeman1994 (talk) 18:09, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
