A page you started (Middle Eastern foreign policy of the Narendra Modi government) has been reviewed![edit]

Thanks for creating Middle Eastern foreign policy of the Narendra Modi government, M.soumen!

Wikipedia editor Irondome just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

I think this should be merged with Indian foreign relations. I think it is too specific for an article, though it's sources can enrich existing articles. Issues with Mr Modi being named, he is not India! :)

Hello, M.soumen. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Middle Eastern foreign policy of the Narendra Modi government, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Irondome (talk) 20:59, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rationale for proposed deletion[edit]

Here are a few thoughts. == Proposed deletion of Middle Eastern foreign policy of the Narendra Modi government ==

The article Middle Eastern foreign policy of the Narendra Modi government has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I believe it is too specific in terms of politician named. Think it would be better subsumed under existing Indian foreign policy articles. You can certainly enrich existing Indo-Israel etc relations articles with your new material.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. No wet leases in the fleet section[edit]

Please note the project guide page for fleet data which states that wet-leased aircraft should not be included in the fleet table. Do things properly...[edit]

please preview first and make sure you made the right changes. don't leave any broken link, its better to have no link than a broken link. and one more thing, please don't add unconfirmed or uncited information into Wikipedia. if I remember correctly you created project 15b article and without proper official confirmation named it Bangalore class destroyer. it took us ( me and other editors) a lot of time to fix up that problem and not to mention thousands of people who visited that page got misinformed. our actions affect thousands of people, always remember that. Nicky mathew (talk) 12:35, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Nicky mathew, I appreciate your efforts in updating the Project-15B destroyer article. When I started this and named it Bangalore-class, it was not without any reason, I cited media reports referring the lead-ship as INS Bangalore[1] so the class was obviously supposed to be named Bangalore-class. it is only recently the Spokesperson of Ministry of Defense confirmed that they renamed it as INS Visakhapatnam. One more thing the name should be Visakhapatnam-class and not Vishakapatnam-class as per tweets of @SpokespersonMoD. Anyway I will keep your suggestion in mind from next time. Changes to airline destinations[edit]

I can see that you have made changes to destination table of TruJet. Please don't change the table format as you wish. The format is in accordance with Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Style guide/Layout (Airlines). Don't try to change it further. Magentic Manifestations (talk) 13:31, 1 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Magentic Manifestations, What do you think a destinations table on TruJet article which I have edited was not as per Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Style guide/Layout (Airlines) standards? You must study that guideline in details and the format I used is the most widely used (your one also valid) in Wikipedia. It doesn't make much sense when a particular station commenced or terminated but in my style the HUB, Focus city, Terminated are properly (visually bold) shown. Now its just my suggestion to make the changes if you are convinced. Thanks M.soumen (talk) 19:13, 1 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, See for the time being TruJet withdrew its Chennai-hyderabad flight via Rajahmundry (which was actually introduced for the Pushkaram festival) and as of today Chennai is out of its network. Although it is going to introduce Hyderabad-Chennai-Hyderabad flight from 6 August 2015. My point is it is not easy to track start and end dates of a flight service as per your preferred destinations list. Rather using my preferred destination list is easy to maintain, you can just add style="background: #FFDFFF; vertical-align: middle; text-align: center; " class="dropped table-dropped"|Terminated if the flight ends no need to write exact date of starting and ending. Here I gave you some rational why so many articles follow my preferred style of destinations list. Thanks M.soumen (talk) 20:10, 1 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Thai Vietjet Air, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gaya. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. No vandalism at Vistara[edit]

Information icon Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at Vistara, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage editors. Please see what is not vandalism for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. --Jetstreamer Talk 10:19, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Jetstreamer, for pointing me the false 'vandalism' report I have mentioned in edit summery. I have observed few edits on Vistara edit today which was incorrect. Therefore I have edited fresh to undo those changes. I will keep it in mind next time when I find some wrong edits whether they are 'vandalism' or not.

Your GA nomination of Vistara[edit]

The article Vistara you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Vistara for comments about the article. Well done! Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:19, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia).
