Before editing further, I suggest looking over a few things. First, the page WP:V, which indicates how material is decided for inclusion on Wikipedia. It's not included because someone says so; it's included because it can be demonstrated with reference to reliable sources. You are doing the opposite - removing the reliable sources, and asserting that something is so, without backing it up. Second, WP:COI. Your username indicates you may have a personal connection to the article subject, in which case your editing will be very closely watched to keep the article from becoming a promotional tool. Third, WP:CIV. It's bad form to tell other people to stop editing, particularly when I've good reason to make the reversions I did. Further changes to Lorn should probably be discussed on the article's talk page before instantiated in the article. Chubbles (talk) 18:22, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, so the BBC article misidentifies the artist...I don't know how it does so; there aren't a ton of sources indicating what his name is, but Discogs has him as publishing as Marcos Ortega, so if that's not his real name, it certainly seems to be another alias. I don't know in what other sense the BBC article might be misidentifying him. Certainly, if there is a factual error in the BBC article, which is of course possible, we'd want to correct it, but we'd need some actual evidence of this, rather than just your word. I see some discrepancies in his place of origin - BBC says Milwaukee, Discogs has it as Chicago, this interview says he's from "the middle of nowhere in the middle of Illinois". Do you have any other references I can rely on to correct this?
What I need you to see here is, it's not right for you to expect me to take you merely at your word. I spent time looking into Lorn's backstory through published media and found what I - we, Wikipedia - have good reason to believe is reliable information about him, as Wiki policy encourages. If you remove it and simply say "it's wrong", what reason do we have to believe you instead? Furthermore, willy-nilly reverting well-defended editing decisions is disruptive to the project, and you should be aware of Wikipedia's WP:3RR rule. You need to discuss these changes before making them (WP:BRD is the key thinking behind this - if you revert and have to be forced to the discussion table, as has happened here, people are less likely to take you seriously).
