Use of primary sources[edit]

Please be aware that Wikipedia requires secondary sources when building articles. For instance, it is not Wikipedia's job to do searches on donor databases to ascertain that somebody has donoted money to Obama. Such a claim, even when true, needs to be reported in reliable sources, since Wikipedia is not a newspaper. These rules exist to prevent WP:SYNTHESIS.
