Notability[edit]

Hello, I saw the link that you added and your COI declaration(thank you). If you are editing as part of your paid job, you also need to review the paid editing policy(if you are not paid, please disregard)

I would suggest that before creating the article about Mr. Collins that you review the notability guidelines for politicians at WP:NPOLITICIAN; merely running for office does not merit someone an article, unless they would merit an article some other way(which Wikipedia calls general notability). Mr. Collins would need to be written about in independent reliable sources in order to support the content of the article. Primary sources should be used minimally.

You may wish to submit a draft for review using Articles for Creation, so you can get feedback and work out any issues with the draft before it is placed in the encyclopedia and not afterwards, when it would be treated more harshly, especially where you have a COI. 331dot (talk) 15:13, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
