Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I think it's great that you want to hep out, but unfortunately, your username appeared to me to be too close to that of an existing user, User:LiquidGhoul. If you want to contribute, I really do encourage you to do so. But I must tell you to get a different username. You just happened on to an unlucky coincidence, and if you meant no harm, I am truly sorry. But as long as you are creating another account, take a look at out username policy.--HereToHelp 21:00, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock}}

Here, read this official template: {{UsernameBlocked}}. It's nothing you did wrong and I'm very sorry. We still want you here.--HereToHelp 21:05, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You can still edit your talk page (this page), you know.--HereToHelp 21:14, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to get consensus to get you unblocked. Please hold on, administrators are discussing it, but things take a while sometimes. User:Zoe|(talk) 23:39, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not trying to be evil. I unblocked him myself. I apologize, maybe that was a bit rash. I was just trying to avoid confusion. It appears I was a catalyst.--HereToHelp 23:43, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is everything all set now? --Liquidcross 01:10, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Probably too late now, but I don't have any problem with the name. It is pretty different, and I don't think many people will get us confused, as we most probably don't edit in the same subjects anyway (looking at your contributions). I would only have a problem if it were purposeful to try and get me in trouble, which I really doubt from what I have seen. --liquidGhoul 09:37, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, I'm definitely not trying to imitate you. I didn't even know of your existence until this whole mess began! No harm done. Now I just need to wait for the unblock to go through, so I can get back to work. :) --Liquidcross 13:16, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I tried doing some edits this morning, and the system is saying I'm blocked again. The message I received when trying to edit follows my unblock request. Any thoughts? --Liquidcross 13:18, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your user name or IP address has been blocked from editing. You were blocked by HereToHelp for the following reason (see our blocking policy): "Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "Liquidcross". The reason given for Liquidcross's block is: "Too close to User:LiquidGhoul. Your IP address is 63.120.8.162.

I can't find that autoblock, can you try again and report the unblock tag if it's still happening. --pgk(talk) 19:22, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Here it is; it's the same as before. --Liquidcross 19:29, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK found it now, just couldn't see it for looking. I've undone it, sometimes the autoblocker doesn't release properly, so try again and let me know how you get on. --pgk(talk) 19:57, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Seems to be working now. Thanks! I hope his whole mess didn't come about because I use multiple computers... --Liquidcross 20:04, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Glad that got sttled out. My apologies.--HereToHelp 20:59, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there! I noticed you made the Legend of Stafy page, which I've been working on a lot as well. I have a question for you, since you're obviously fluent in the Japanese language while I am not. Is Stafy a starfish, or is he something else? Sometimes I hear people saying that he's a "sky star." Which is correct?

Thanks! --Liquidcross 13:37, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is probably a mystery, so I believe it is best to ask some Japanese fans about him. He's probably like SpongeBob SquarePants, which he is looks like two similar things.

Parrothead1983 17:16, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know, that the main Stafy theme is in Donkey Konga 1? It is titled as "Legend of Stafy". --Parrothead1983 13:27, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No kidding! Is it only in the Japanese version of the game? --Liquidcross 19:58, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but I thought it was also in the American version. I'm hearing people now believing that the correct spelling is Starfy, because of TOSE saying it and FryGuy64 also said that, but it can't be, because the official websites' URL paths, images, and the poster in M&L 1 use Stafy. If Stafy appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and if Nintendo releases it in America and other countries in English, and if they spell his name as Stafy, then the mystery is solved. If not, then the name controversy continues. The reason why the Legend of Stafy franchise never came to America, is because TOSE wants to always be "behind the scenes", eventhough the Game & Watch Gallery titles they developed were released worldwide. --Parrothead1983 20:56, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
A recent Gamasutra interview with TOSE did indeed say that the official English spelling is Starfy. However, another TOSE interview on the same site a few months before said it was Stafy! I don't think we'll ever know for sure until a Densetsu no Stafy game comes out in the US. They didn't even use his name in Super Princess Peach! Though, on the poster of him in Mario & Luigi, it's spelled "Stafy." It's so confusing. --Liquidcross 13:17, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
