A kitten for you![edit]

Doing an awesome job!

Limolover (talk) 10:36, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I'm afraid I have removed the book covers from this article. As a rule, only "free" content can be used on Wikipedia, but we do allow the use of non-free content if it meets certain deliberately strict guidelines. However, the use of non-free content in lists like that is rarely going to be appropriate, and certainly wasn't in that case. The images which are now "orphaned"- not in use- have been nominated for deletion. If you have any questions or believe that I acted in error, please contact me on my talk page. Your GA nomination of Obernewtyn (novel)[edit]

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I am glad to be reviewing the article Obernewtyn (novel) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Tea with toast (話) 21:50, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Tea with toast; just so you know, I am making a few changes to it at the moment at the suggestion of some others, which can be seen on its talk page. --Limolover (talk) 00:49, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

GA review complete[edit]

Your GA nomination of Obernewtyn (novel)[edit]

The article Obernewtyn (novel) you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Obernewtyn (novel) for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. I am sorry to give you disappointing news, but I hope you will not be discouraged by this result but will use it as a learning opportunity. (Don't worry. The first time I nominated an article for GA, it didn't pass either). I greatly hope that you can improve the article and find more tools to help you with editing in the future. Thank you for helping us here on Wikipedia! I look forward to meeting you again! --Tea with toast (話) 03:18, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks![edit]

Thanks for the barnstar! --Tea with toast (話) 02:06, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

(Firstly, what a strange coincidence that I'm contacting you again about basically the same isssue...) Concerning Obernewtyn (novel), you really need to choose one of the covers (for the infobox) and stick with it. Unless the covers are in some way significant, you can't really justify having both. If in doubt, go with the first edition. J Milburn (talk) 15:55, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I had believed I had resolved that issue. Yes, I see your point, it is not that significant. I will remove it. --Limolover talk 17:42, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for May 8[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Darkfall (Carmody novel), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Third-person. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
