Hey, you did a great job on the article to date :). You're coming fully back again hm?:P What d u think about the DYK? I hope you don't mind i nominated it. Cheers!— Tomica (talk) 18:45, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Well, having the fact that you have done "On the Floor" I don't have doubts about you and your work. We should definitely have you here, but really. You should be again here regularly! Wikipedia has a spell on me and I can't leave her. The first two pages that I write when I come on the net are Facebook and Wikipedia. xD Anyway I have seen the album article too, looks good. I am well yeah, at the moment focused at Usher articles regarding his new album Looking 4 Myself (a masterpiece!). Rihanna's article are nearly over so we are waiting for new release :P (probably this November)! — Tomica (talk) 18:57, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
I am not flattering ever, I am only telling you the truth, trust me ;). Some people here can't handle it, but it's truth (a little philosophy :P). Well my favorites from Looking 4 Myself are "Euphoria" and "I Care for U", but "Numb" is fine too. He has to do much more promotion to those masterpiece! And about TTT, well I liked the songs but they do not mash-up in the album well. So diverse themes and genres. She should have done Louder a re-release of Loud that was scheduled. Imagine, "We Found Love" a lead single from Louder, but only in my dreams haha:). Loud, Good Girl Gone Bad and Rated R are her best albums (to date). And about Leona's release I do not listen to her much and didn't like "Colide" so, not much excited honestly. — Tomica (talk) 19:19, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Woman to Woman (YES. This again)

I don't have ANY problem AT ALL with someone editing a Wikipedia article. Like you said, it is a collaborative effort. However, the article that you're trying to edit has no need to be edited at this time. You've added writers and vocalists to the tracklist when a full one hasn't been created yet. You changed the name of the section "confirmed tracks" AFTER I followed YOUR advisement and took out the entire tracklist that fully separated rumored tracks. You've also added a false Trey Songz collaboration. As much as I want him to be a part of the album, Keyshia has told me that he will not this time. Please don't misunderstand where I'm coming from. I enjoy having people help articles expand and grow but only when needed. Manuel Mexico (talk) 17:03, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

I completely understand you. If you feel as though my way of editing is incorrect, feel more than happy to edit what's wrong. I'm sorry if you've misunderstood the point that I've tried to get across. Manuel Mexico (talk) 16:12, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Now...

...I'm not a fan of Leona what-so-ever, but I'm interested in hearing this new single that's coming out. Statυs (talk) 19:46, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Editing my revisions...

Is there a reason that you keep deleting almost everything I put on Woman to Woman (Keyshia Cole album)? After several times of going back and forth trying to be reasonable and see your perspective, it seems as though I can't edit the page without conflict. I've added sourced material. I honestly don't feel as though it's sources. It seems that you're changing the format of the page that I've done, deleting entire sections of information I've composed (WITH sourced material) along with adding information that isn't relevant just so the article can be done "your way." Keyshia Cole Day is an official day! Why that shouldn't be in there but the quote "I’m in love with these songs I’ve recorded. REAL TALK" is absolutely necessary is a mystery to me. I also don't understand why the section of confirmed guests was taken out when I CLEARLY provided a source from Keyshia's Twitter herself that provided the guests due on the album. You've taken out writers and producers and transformed the article into a whole unnecessary composition when it was fine the way it is. Please help me understand because all the edits and revisions you've made were completed unneeded, but you're threatening to block me from editing Wikipedia. I'm not trying to attack you. Please just help me understand! Manuel Mexico (talk) 19:10, August 19, 2012 (UTC)

I think it might be a good idea to close this AFD and re-evaluate each album individually. Some of them charted, some of them were reviewed by places other than Allmusic, and some of them were certified — all of which are assertations of notability for an album. WikiCup 2012 August newsletter

The final is upon us! We are down to our final 8. A massive 573 was our lowest qualifying score; this is higher than the 150 points needed last year and the 430 needed in 2010. Even in 2009, when points were acquired for mainspace edit count in addition to audited content, 417 points secured a place. That leaves this year's WikiCup, by one measure at least, our most competitive ever. Our finalists, ordered by round 4 score, are:

  1. Conradh na Gaeilge Grapple X (submissions) once again finishes the round in first place, leading Pool B. Grapple X writes articles about television, and especially The X-Files and Millenium, with good articles making up the bulk of the score.
  2. Wisconsin Miyagawa (submissions) led Pool A this round. Fourth-place finalist last year, Miyagawa writes on a variety of topics, and has reached the final primarily off the back of his massive number of did you knows.
  3. Minnesota Ruby2010 (submissions) was second in Pool B. Ruby2010 writes primarily on television and film, and scores primarily from good articles.
  4. Scotland Casliber (submissions) finished third in Pool B. Casliber is something of a WikiCup veteran, having finished sixth in 2011 and fourth in 2010. Casliber writes on the natural sciences, including ornithology, botany and astronomy. Over half of Casliber's points this round were bonus points from the high-importance articles he has worked on.
  5. Wales Cwmhiraeth (submissions) came second in Pool A. Also writing on biology, especially marine biology, Cwmhiraeth received 390 points for one featured article (Bivalvia) and one good article (pelican), topping up with a large number of did you knows.
  6. New York City Muboshgu (submissions) was third in Pool A. Muboshgu writes primarily on baseball, and this round saw Muboshgu's first featured article, Derek Jeter, promoted on its fourth attempt at FAC.
  7. Michigan Dana Boomer (submissions) was fourth in Pool A. She writes on a variety of topics, including horses, but this round also saw the high-importance lettuce reach featured article status.
  8. Canada Sasata (submissions) is another WikiCup veteran, having been a finalist in 2009 and 2010. He writes mostly on mycology.

However, we must also say goodbye to the eight who did not make the final, having fallen at the last hurdle: Russia GreatOrangePumpkin (submissions), England Ealdgyth (submissions), England Calvin999 (submissions), Poland Piotrus (submissions), North Carolina Toa Nidhiki05 (submissions), Florida 12george1 (submissions), Cherokee Nation The Bushranger (submissions) and North Macedonia 1111tomica (submissions). We hope to see you all next year.

On the subject of next year, a discussion has been opened here. Come and have your say about the competition, and how you'd like it to run in the future. This brainstorming will go on for some time before more focused discussions/polls are opened. As ever, if you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! Hey, just letting you know that I reviewed your DYK submission. There are a couple of problems that I found with it but they're definitely not insurmountable and one of them just involves rewriting some prose. Hope it helps! PanydThe muffin is not subtle 17:53, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

RE: Sweat

"Having worked on numerous WP:Good articles, and given the distinct lack of information the way the article is currently presented is the best representation of information. I've nominated the article and as soon as its reviewed it should hopefully pass. Please refrain from making sweeping/large changes which essentially push information around the page without adding any benefit. Also some of your edits add unsourced information like "hip-hop". None of the referencing refers to the songs as a "Hip-hop" song. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 01:44, 30 August 2012 (UTC)"

I'm trying to reorganize the page. The information is fine, but it could just be better arranged. Now that it's gotten the award, I think it's fine to change it. The information would still be there. —MPQzy (talk) 13:13, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

"::First of all Gerrick Kennedy is a respected reviewer from the LA Times. His comment "And after a revolving door of release dates and a slew of poorly received leaked tracks" is necessary as its a qualified analysis of the failures with Basic Instinct and explains a lot of the background to the lack of support Ciara had from Jive. Also its factual... it is true. Secondly we always attribute years to the album titles in GA articles. According to MTV "I just love to make you sweat in all kinds of ways" is a lyric. You listening to the song and saying otherwise isnt a qualified opinion. Finally if your gonna make changes like this to a WP:Good article you should consult with the person or people who've been contributing most and making the article a GA as it signficantly changes the context of the article. Seriously dude, you need to start discussing things more. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:38, 5 September 2012 (UTC)"

Actually, it's not factual. He's just another reviewer/critic like anyone else. That's his opinion. Years are also not needed, look at Love Sex Magic. Also, Even if MTV says that's a lyric, one just has to listen to the song to know that's not in the song. That's just common sense. You're putting false information in something that is supposed to be factual. Finally, why do I have to ask? Wikipedia tells me to be bold and that's what I'm doing. It's not like I'm adding wrong information or something. Seems to me like you're trying to own the article. —MPQzy (talk) 18:52, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

Hey what's up? What was with that user u wrote on my talk page? Anyway, I just saw somebody posted comment on the "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)" DYK nomination. Detox

Lil-unique1:

I'm ready to do the merger. I mashed up from the Dr. Dre article and Detox (User:Chad.hutchins/sandbox). I thought we had consensus but other editors keep making "statements"; that you are answering, thanks for that! In your opinion and experience, are we at a point that we can just do the merge?

Thanks! --ChadH (talk) 19:57, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

Support negative the infobox. I guess you can do the merge and there is a way to close the discussion formally too like what happens with AfD. I'm trying to find the template for that. I've found the close discussion templates. I'll go ahead and close the discussion with an explaination for whats going to happen. The you can go ahead and merge. Paragraphing could be slightly improved to by trying to clump things together a bit more. its all a bit random atm. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:48, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
Merge done! Thanks again! Yes the paragraphs could use some work. As you can imagine it was a pain to mash up! --ChadH (talk) 00:14, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
I like it and think its serves good purpose now. I imagine it will suddenly prove an unpopular move. But if that occurs and people start reverting we can always request full protection for Detox (Dr. Dre album). Good job though! — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 00:17, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

RE: Cockiness

I don't think it's a single only because it was released digitally. Songs are released to iTunes all the time, remixes are even more frequent. She's apparently releasing the lead single from her seventh album (yeah, again) next week so I think the song is just a buzz release since it's not set for a radio release as of now. But well, I think we can keep that and wait just to see if it's, in fact, a single. Decodet (talk) 23:54, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

The article is in very good shape (thanks to you, Hash!) and doesn't really require much at all. A little copyediting here and there, a composition section (which a lot can be taken from the song articles I created) and commercial performance. Whataya think? Zac  13:53, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

WikiCup 2012 September newsletter

We're over half way through the final, and so it is less than a month until we know for certain our 2012 WikiCup champion. Conradh na Gaeilge Grapple X (submissions) currently leads, followed by Canada Sasata (submissions), Wales Cwmhiraeth (submissions) and Scotland Casliber (submissions). However, we have no one resembling a breakaway leader, and so the competition is a long way from over. Next month's newsletter will feature a list of our winners (who are not necessarily only the finalists) and keep your eyes open for an article on the WikiCup in a future edition of The Signpost. The leaders are already on a par with last year's winners, but a long way from the huge scores seen in 2010. That said, a repeat of the competition from 2010 seems unlikely.

It is good to see that three-quarters of our finalists have already scored bonus points this round. This shows that, contrary to criticism that the WikiCup has received in the past, the competition does not merely incentivise the writing of trivial articles; instead, our top competitors are still spending their time contributing to high-importance articles, and bringing them to a high standard. This does a great service to the encyclopedia and its readers. Thank you, and good work!

The planning for next year's WikiCup is ongoing. Some straw polls have been opened concerning the scoring, and you can now sign up for next year's competition. Good luck! Trust and Believe

Please don't redirect this page again. Thank you. Manuel Mexico (talk) 16:23, October 7, 2012 (UTC)

Excuse me, but never did I once TELL you that you could or could not do anything. It just seems as though once again, you're trying your best to go against my wishes for a Wikipedia article. The same incident occurred for Woman to Woman, and in both incidents, you bring up the guidelines to disguise the fact that you just want to get to me. Now sir, I have been editing Wikipedia for some time now, and never have I had any problems with editing that couldn't be resolved. So, I don't believe that I'm being biased at all. However, I do believe that you're being extremely unprofessional based upon the way you build yourself to be as an editor. So all in all, I'm done arguing with you because it's obvious that you don't seem to want to resolve but ignite. Therefore, I ask that you please stop trolling my editing history looking for reasons to socially embarrass me because I'm very sure that cyberbulling is against Wikipedia guidelines as well. Disambiguation link notification for October 9

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Glassheart, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Newcastle (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Caroline Sullivan

Are you looking at a different source for the sentence "the reviewer [Sullivan] said Adele was better at ballads"? I have read the review and can't find it anywhere. — ThePowerofX 13:56, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

I have moved the discussion to article talk (here) to allow for more view points. — ThePowerofX 15:46, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi. If you have time, would you be interested in comment at the FAC page for The Way I See It (album)? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Dan56 (talk) 22:38, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

Edit

Question. Was this revert done for a particular reason, or by mistake?[1]

Thanks Apteva (talk) 22:36, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

I'm so sorry. That was a complete error! I have a new smaller laptop and I'm struggling to get used to it. Very sorry! — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 22:41, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
No problem. Just thought it was worth asking, though. Apteva (talk) 22:43, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Hey

I don't know if you have seen this, but Leona all but says Collide is not a single from Glassheart. She describes it as a "song I put out in the summer" around 3:30 in the video. AARONTALK 13:15, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Did you not get a signed copy of Glassheart? AARONTALK 10:40, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
I wanted the deluxe edition so opted for that instead :P — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 19:10, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Lol I bought two signed copies and downloaded the deluxe on iTunes. AARONTALK 21:08, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Really????? — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 22:24, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Yes. Lol. AARONTALK 15:37, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

Hello

I was wondering if you could leave constructive comments and/or cast a vote on Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of songs recorded by Alexandra Burke/archive1 please? Thank you. AARONTALK 16:21, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

Erm

I wasn't finished. None of the prose I had spent ages doing exists at all. AARONTALK 22:50, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

I was actually really offended by you completely omitting all the work I had done on the article. I've done a good faith revert. It was not fair of you to completely re-write and change everything I had done, when there was actually nothing wrong with it (I noticed several inaccuracies with what you had done). I've wanted to be involved with Glassheart and "Trouble", but I saw that you was clearly putting a lot of time and countless edits into both articles, and therefore decided to leave you to it, as much as I secretly wanted involvement. I really like "Glassheart" and I knew it would chart because it is so good. I feel like this way I can be involved with the Glassheart era and album and write an article about a song which I love. And for you to remove and change all the prose that I had done really rubbed me up the wrong way, as it almost said that what you had to say was more important than what I had to say. A copy edit is when you change some things to make it better, not completely re-write the entire article when nothing was wrong with it, especially as a clear under construction banner is placed on the article, which obviously means I was not finished editing. I'd like to be able to finish writing this article as I had intended without further possible further reverts from you. I'm not having a go at you, I'm just saying how I felt about your action to omit all that I had written. I know you probably didn't mean it to come out like this, but this is the effect it caused on me. AARONTALK 00:09, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
Apologies that wasn't my intention. I'll go through our versions and see if there is anything I can constructively add that missing from the current version compared to my version. I didn't mean to completely overide the article. Tbh i didn't know you'd written the article, that's my fault for not checking, it was late last night and I was tired. If i'd have known it was a good editor I wouldn't have made a complete re-hash of the article. Sorry. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 09:47, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
I don't see how your couldn't have seen. There is an under construction banner on the article, and it said it was last edited by me. You must have known it was me because your edit summary was almost like a reply to me. It just surprised me that you would do something like that, regardless of who I am or because you think I'm a good editor, because I didn't think you would. I'm not creating an argument, but I'm just being honest and I say how I feel about things. Let's just forget about it. AARONTALK 14:20, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Every participant who scored in the competition will receive a ribbon of participation. In addition to the prizes based on placement, the following special prizes will be awarded based on high performance in particular areas of content creation. So that the finalists do not have an undue advantage, the prize is awarded to the competitor who scored the highest in any particular field in a single round.

Awards will be handed out in the coming days; please bear with us! This year's competition also saw fantastic contributions in all rounds, from newer Wikipedians contributing their first good or featured articles, right up to highly experienced Wikipedians chasing high scores and contributing to topics outside of their usual comfort zones. It would be impossible to name all of the participants who have achieved things to be proud of, but well done to all of you, and thanks! Wikipedia has certainly benefited from the work of this year's WikiCup participants.

Next year's WikiCup will begin in January. Currently, discussions and polls are open, and all contributions are welcome. You can also sign up for next year's competition. There will be no further newsletters this year, although brief notes may be sent out in December to remind everyone about the upcoming competition. It's been a pleasure to work with you all, and we hope to see you all in January! J Milburn (talkemail) and The ed17 (talkemail) 00:31, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

Signpost interview almost ready for publication

Your interview discussing WikiProject Songs will be published in next week's issue of the Signpost. Could you take a moment to answer the final question at the interview which asks "How can a new contributor help today?". We'd like to leave our readers with some ways they can contribute to the project, whether that means joining the project, working on templates, searching for sources, or other ways they can improve articles related to songs. Thanks! –Mabeenot (talk) 19:35, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

This is the last chance for any additional responses. –Mabeenot (talk) 17:55, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

Honduran Singles Chart

I noticed you removed the Honduran Singles Chart on Starships (song) on the basis of not being reliable. I had brought the chart on the Record charts talk page and Kww didn't see a problem, but since I am still new to record charts and I had mass added the charts earlier so it might be a problem if it is not reliable. Thanks! Erick (talk) 00:04, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello, if you would like to leave comments which concern you or would cast a vote in support or opposition based on your findings, I would much appreciate it. The list has garnered several good (and resolved) reviews, but no votes have been cast. Thanks. AARONTALK 12:28, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Talk:List of best-selling music artists

Can you explain why you have reverted my edit here?--Harout72 (talk) 23:39, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

apologies. I have no recollections of doing this. I believe it was an error on my behalf as I was using a track pad. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 15:40, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Alicia Keys

Are you interested in bringing Alicia Keys back to good article status anytime soon? :) — ΛΧΣ21 15:04, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

RE: Trouble

Did my best responding to that issue. BTW, could you help out at All of the Lights? I've reverted three times already, but same "featured artist" issue keeps arising whenever IPs get around there, despite two talk page posts regarding it. Dan56 (talk) 17:44, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

Unapologetic

We (me and you) have reviewed Rated R, Loud and Talk That Talk... now what do you think about the newest baby?:) — Tomíca(T2ME) 22:36, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Jump is awesome. I love the whole album except Numb and Get Over With, those are really bljak! However, I personally think is better than TTT (altough We Found Love stays love of my life :P). — Tomíca(T2ME) 22:43, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, and "Talk That Talk" alongside the one you mentioned for Louder. But that's it, sad it didn't happen. — Tomíca(T2ME) 22:51, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
