I am not sure why you are inserting what seem to me to be weasel words with the effect of diminishing the significance of a term widely recognised as a racist slur into something that just one named individual deems a racist slur. I would invite you to reconsider what you are trying to achieve and then to discuss this on the article's talk page. Please do not reinsert it unless there is a consensus in favour. --DanielRigal (talk) 01:19, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

The claim this term is widely recognized as a racist slur is not supported by the reference which cites only the claim of one individual in a newspaper interview and not any published study or authoritative reference. This does not prove "wide" recognition. Further, as other references show the term can be used to refer to two or more ethnic groups, this would actually disprove its use as "racist." At best it's derogatory slang. The claim of "wide recognition" that it is "racist" without anything more substantive that a single person's cited opinion does not hold. (e.g. If so, which race?) I will date and tag the claim to alert & give editors some time to find a resolve. As it stands, this is nothing more than a pejorative term. Lexlex (talk) 04:34, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
Looks like you beat me to it. Cheers. Lexlex (talk) 04:43, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

Calling the Nazi Party left wing or right wing...

Is a gross oversimplification. Arcteryxcrembulon (talk) 23:35, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

You're right. Stating it makes as much sense as declaring which ice cream flavor is "best" as it is entirely subjective reasoning. Not sure how to make this point clear: neither should be in the article. Lexlex (talk) 07:55, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
