July 2018[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 00:39, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

September 2018[edit]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Herbert von Karajan. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. If you disagree with the subject's article name, I suggest you start a discussion at Talk:Herbert von Karajan. Until the issue is resolved, you ought to revert your changes. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 11:43, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

List of suicides[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. You removed content from Wikipedia with this edit of yours to List of suicides, but without providing a rationale for this in an edit summary. When removing material, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. hi there. don't worry - expressis verbis i did not worry that i made a mistake. ciao, Leos1968 (talk) 05:47, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing content from Wikipedia without an edit summary, or providing a rationale for your edits in discussion with others, as you did with this edit to List of suicides. Doing so violates the collaborative manner in which editors are supposed to work on Wikipedia, and is considered disruptive editing. Thank you. Nightscream (talk) 18:42, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

April 2019[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Pig-Pen, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. Also, you may want to reconsider that addition. That article is about a specific character named "Pig-Pen", not about the use of the nickname in general. Unless you have a reliable source linking the Grateful Dead member to the Peanuts strip, it's off-topic for that article. Nat Gertler (talk) 23:14, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And now, checking the history of your talk page, I see that you've been warned about this repeatedly... and checking the history of your edits, I see you almost always use the minor edit check box anyway. People can and do get blocked from editing for this (and as far as I know, no one has ever been blocked for not using the checkbox, so you're better off simply not checking it ever, if you are unable to discern when it is appropriate.) --Nat Gertler (talk) 00:15, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

May 2019[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did with this edit to List of suicides, you will be blocked from editing. Nightscream (talk) 04:05, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Gielen[edit]

When you add a quote, we need a source, and context. A senseless quote, even if the subject really said something, is good for nothing. Secondly: when you are reverted, don't revert back, but go to the article talk page. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:34, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Leos1968 (talk) 06:42, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
On the English Wikipedia, we better speak English, for others to follow. Add the source to the quote, and say where when to whom he said that. Without context, we don't even know it's supposed to be funny. I'd also like the original, perhaps in a footnote. I heard him say that if he didn't compose he'd have to kill. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:50, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
And where did he say t h a t ? Leos1968 (talk) 06:55, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not adding that to an article. At a public talk in Frankfurt, probably during his "era", asked by someone in the audience why - being so successful as a conductor - he composed at all. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:08, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
so? source. Leos1968 (talk) 08:54, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
What in "I'm not adding that to an article." did you not understand? Here, on your talk page, I can say that I heard it, I was there. I am not reliable, therefore I don't add it to his article, although I believe it says much more about him than the little Nettigkeit you added. But go ahead, add a source, and I won't revert again. To be safe, do it tomorrow, because of 3RR (although it would only be the second). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:23, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
was ist 3RR ? Leos1968 (talk) 21:19, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:3RR - Arjayay (talk) 07:16, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What in "add it with a source, and I won't revert again" did you not understand? You added NO source, so I reverted per WP:BRD, in case you don't know that guideline. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:10, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Deario, do you n o t trust me then, at all?? Remember, auch Zwerge sind mal klein angefangen Leos1968 (talk) 16:21, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
All capitals mean shouting, DYK? Trust is not the question, verify is needed, - ADD A SOURCE. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:42, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

List of progressive rock artists[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to List of progressive rock artists appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 07:17, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed it. Leos1968 (talk) 07:39, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
