Nikolai Gogol edit[edit]

Hi, Lenny Olsen. Could you please remove the extensive hidden comment you added from the body of the article to a new section on the article's talk page? You're rationale is absolutely fine, but please read WP:HIDDEN. Hidden text is not a substitute for using the talk page. Within a couple of edits it won't be known who added the comment, what content was removed, or why a protracted hidden comment needs to be there.

If a content change is too complex to be self-evident in an edit summary, it should be posted to the article's talk page in order that other editors be aware of why the change was made (i.e., transparency), and as a record of what has or hasn't been discussed for future editors. Welcome aboard, and happy editing! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 22:28, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
