A few tips to get you started[edit]

  • For the most part, don't mark your edits as "minor", as doing so suppresses page-change notifications to other editors. Anytime somebody adds, removes, or alters the content of an article, it's not minor. Minor edits are things like fixing punctuation and spelling. You can read more at WP:MINOR.
  • Avoid using <nowiki>> tags, especially in articles. These are usually only for demonstrating
  • To create a Wikilink, it's not necessary to use a pipe | when the text matches the article title. For example, if I want to create a link to butter, all I have to do is put brackets around it, like so: [[butter]]. Doing something like [[Butter|butter]] is redundant.
