Image problems

Hi. The images had no source and no evidence of a free license. Remember what the image description page said immediately after you uploaded them: "This image was uploaded under a fair use rationale, but may fail Wikipedia's first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a free image might reasonably be found or created that adequately provides the same information. [...] If this image is determined to be replaceable within 48 hours [...] it may be deleted." Please see Wikipedia:Image use policy.

Also, I now see you declared Image:Fiu2.jpg to be self-made, but it is in fact a copyright violation from the FIU webpage ([1]). Please never do that again, or you will be blocked. If there should be other cases where you've made wrong claims to authorship of images, please let me know now. Fut.Perf. ☼ 06:27, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Please just read the text at Template:AutoReplaceable fair use buildings again, and then the Wikipedia:Image use policy. The images were unfree because somebody else than you owns the copyright for them, it's that simple really. Fut.Perf. ☼ 19:39, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm afraid the only way to make them legal would be to contact the owners and ask them to release them under the GFDL or a similar free license. (There's some help on how to do that, let me check, it's here.) Or even better still, just go there and take your own photographs. Fut.Perf. ☼ 19:45, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
