CSI: New Orleans[edit]

Why are you talking shit about CSI: New Orleans? There's no such thing. -- AvatarMN (talk) 01:28, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stella transfers to the New Orleans branch of CSI, CSI: New Orleans, JUST BECAUSE ITS NOT A TV SHOW DOESN'T MEAN IT DOESN'T EXIST!

File:WeatherlyWagnerNCIS.jpg[edit]

I have just reverted your addition of File:WeatherlyWagnerNCIS.jpg to Robert Wagner, Michael Weatherly, Anthony DiNozzo and [NCIS (TV series)]]. The file is not free but does not include the required free use rationale for any of the articles to which it was added. Its use in Robert Wagner and Michael Weatherly breaches WP:NFCC#1 because non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available and clearly there is free content available. In NCIS (TV series) its use breaches WP:NFCC#8 because Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding. --AussieLegend (talk) 02:40, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:WeatherlyWagnerNCIS.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:WeatherlyWagnerNCIS.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. AussieLegend (talk) 02:41, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:WeatherlyWagnerNCIS.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:WeatherlyWagnerNCIS.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. August 2010[edit]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to List of Law & Order: Criminal Intent characters. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --SVU4671 (talk) 03:03, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An image or media file has been removed from your userpage, user talk page, or other page because it was licensed as fair use. Wikipedia's fair use policy states that Copyrighted images under fair use are only allowed to be used in articles about the subject of the image, and only if no free equivalent is available. For example they are not allowed to be used on user pages, in lists, or (typically) in biographies of living people.. As a result, although users are often given a great amount of latitude in the type of content that is allowed on their user pages, it is requested that you abide by this policy. Feel free, however, to add images and media files licensed under other terms. For more information, see Wikipedia's fair use policy and an accompanying essay on the removal of fair use images. Further use of these images will be considered vandalism, and shall be treated as such. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. AussieLegend (talk) 02:20, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:L&OUK3.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:L&OUK3.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:07, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:Homicide life on the Street.jpg[edit]

I have reverted your changes to File:Homicide life on the Street.jpg as the new image is clearly not from the same source as the original and you need to specify this. Instead of simply overwriting the file, you should upload a new image under a different filename. You have had umpteen warnings now about image problems. You really need to start respecting, and following, Wikipedia image policies. --23:01, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

I have reverted your changes again, for exactly the same reason as last time. Please pay heed to warnings. Do not ignore them or you may find yourself blocked from editing because of your persistent disruptive edits. --AussieLegend (talk) 00:30, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your revisions have been deleted... please follow the above instructions... Skier Dude (talk 04:29, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
