Just saying hi![edit]

Hi LMRogder! I just thought I'd come over and introduce myself. I'm the new Wikimedian in Residence based at SLIC in Glasgow and I'm going to be working with public libraries all over Scotland and hopefully turning them into wikipedia wizards. stinglehammer (talk) told me about the good work you're doing in Stirling. Congrats on your first article! We're running a wiki training session with library staff in Stirling on the 23rd May. Give me a shout if you'd like to meet for a chat or partake. Disambiguation link notification for June 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Innerpeffray Library, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hans Holbein (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

A barnstar for you![edit]

The Original Barnstar
Re: Professor Sam Black, MBE.

Hi Lucy, I am Sam's daughter and wish to thank you for your work on the page about Sam and Public Relations. I have edited some details today, and hope you are OK about it. I have written from my own knowledge, such as my date of birth, and that of my brother. I visited his archive at Stirling some years ago, and donated extra materials after his death. A kitten for you! I prefer dogs, but none offered.[edit]

Thanks Lucy, but I fear that the powers that be on this website may have already, or are about to, delete my comments because I did not do it correctly, or because they saw a 'conflict of interest'. I have never ever before posted anything to Wikipedia, and do not understand the rules of the game. I just saw there was something about Sam that was not there some years ago, and tried to be helpful by adding some background, and correcting my DOB and a typo of International. Then my son told me I had wasted my time because it would all be removed! Good luck with all your projects.
