Help request[edit]

I need help with my signature. I am trying to render it as <body bgcolor="silver">ffm yes?</body>, in other words in silver font as ffm with yes? at the end. ffm 19:22, 30 January 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Somthing like this

ffm yes?

<font color="#8C8C8C">ffm</font> <font color="#8C8C8C">yes?</font>

Hope this helps— WilsBadKarma (Talk) 19:28, 30 January 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Route 622 in Piscataway[edit]

I'm sorry, I tried to add details about County Route 622 in Piscataway, I guess I was unsuccessful —The preceding unsigned comment was added by UNKNOWN (talkcontribs).

T:MainPage[edit]

It was added by this user. ffm yes? 14:54, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good find! —Mets501 (talk) 14:56, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scouting[edit]

All I did on the scouting article was delete the huge, repeated vandalism at the top of the page (check out the old version). I don't think I removed any content, but if I did it was clearly accidental. Theonlyedge 21:03, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I got your message. Theonlyedge 21:03, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Thanks for the warm welcome. TCB007 20:58, 7 February 2007 (UTC) [reply]

RFA[edit]

I would suggest making the page something along the lines of Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Firefoxman 2. If you still would like the page deleted, I would talk to one of the bureaucrats about that. Best, IronGargoyle 22:31, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not a nonsence article[edit]

Heres the source its the lead story at the BBC [1]. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hypnosadist (talkcontribs) 00:12, 10 February 2007 (UTC). [reply]

Your RfA[edit]

Hey, Firefoxman! I'm sorry to say that your RfA is not going too well at the moment. I suggest you withdraw it and work on the items the opposers have addressed. Then, you can renominate yourself at a later date. Cbrown1023 talk 17:26, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your RfA[edit]

Good evening (GMT time); I have closed your RfA (link above) as unsuccesful, as a result of your self withdrawal. I admire your courage in doing so - it was clear it was not going to succeed. However, do not be disheartened! Many editors fail a first RfA, only to sail a second! My recommendation is to get involved in XfD debates, some RCP work and possibly look into DR duties to bump up the community's confidence in you. I have no doubt over your honesty and sincerity, but you simply requested the extra buttons a little early! If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,
Anthonycfc [TC] 18:29, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK I don't know why Anthony said he closed it; it was clearly me who did... but anyway don't be disheartened; stay with the project and in order to pass next time, I would address the concerns given by the opposers. Regards. --Majorly (o rly?) 18:36, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for adminship[edit]

Hi there, I have realised my comments about the edit counts per month were a little out of order your RfA and I will openly admit that I was wrong, I'd just like to apologise. Thanks and if you have any other comments you may wish to contact me on my talk page or on my editor review. Also I know this is completely irrelevant but on your user page you have two administrator hopeful user boxes (sorry this is totally irrelevant!!). Respectfully...TellyaddictEditor review! 10:25, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To Firefoxman: If you want Werdnabot to correctly archive sections of talk containing your signature, you should put the time-stamp in your signature in the same format that is produced by using either ~~~~ (four tildas) or ~~~~~ (five tildas). As I do here. JRSpriggs 06:37, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AIV report[edit]

Regarding this AIV report, I realize there is hidden text on the Wikipedia article indicating that vandals are given less tolerance there, but I don't think any sysop would block without any recent warning. Usually you need to have warned them at least a few times in the last 24 hours before we'll block. Some of us are even more conservative with blocking.--Kchase T 16:14, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

Just because it's funny dosen't mean it's vandalism. I may not be registered, but I delete vandalism all over the place on here. Just the other day i was gaurding a fetured article - "the four stages of cruelty" from repeated vandalism.

Sorry for putting this here, but I wanted to address you personally and somewhat privately, and don't know what the usual method is.

I'm no vandal, if anything I'm a white hat. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SeriousCat (talkcontribs).

I am sorry, it was just it seemed to have no context for inclusion. ffm yes? 16:43, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No biggie. I also realized I didn't follow the instuctions exactly, so I could see how you might think I was a vandal. I'm starting to do more than just fix typos and delete vandalism anyway, so I just created an account. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SeriousCat (talkcontribs).

An irate local[edit]

How would you like it if you were visiting a new city, asked a local for directions, and they responded with UGH, look at the map! It's okay to direct someone to the appropriate location for things, but this kind of comment and edit summary and a few other recent ones of yours on Talk:Main Page are reminiscent of that irate local. -- tariqabjotu 22:11, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
