Fair use disputed for Image:Dhslogo.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dhslogo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:58, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To Knowledgesmith: I simply put what I know of the issue. Isn't the point of an open encyclopedia to had people add as they find information. I simply wanted others to add, from the other sides. I know what is going on from the WEST Farmington Point of View. If you can find others to add from the other parts of Farmington, let me know. All I can say is that my former neighbors on the west side are angry, and I just wanted to do something to help them out. And, unless you live in Farmington, I don't know how you can say that the exchange will help commuting in Farmington. The whole system in Farmington, stemming form the Park Lane Interchange was screwed up from conception, which is part of the reason this who controversy has arose.TheMormonDemocrat 14:57, 31 August 2007 (UTC)TheMormonDemocrat[reply]

RE: Legacy Highway[edit]

Just a note--the last part that I added was simply what happened during the elections. UDOT did override the city's wishes and went to the state on it. This isn't opinion. This is fact. And the state ruled that UDOT could start buying property on August 1st. How isn't this relevant?TheMormonDemocrat (talk) 16:57, 4 April 2008 (UTC)TheMormonDemocrat[reply]

It was relevant, but it was not encyclopedic. I would recommend that you add that information to the article about Legacy Highway rather than Farmington's article. I think that what we have on Legacy Highway as of now is fine. It outlines the effect it will have on Farmington, and the points of view of those who live in Farmington. When we start stating the results of elections, and laws that were passed that are more about the highway than Farmington, the information no longer relevant the Farmington article. Dude, I didn't know that there was a Legacy Highway page. I'm just saying things that are/were pretty big in the area. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheMormonDemocrat (talkcontribs) 16:19, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
