Disambiguation link notification for February 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Seoul, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jung-gu. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of 2016 KBO League season, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: 2015 KBO League season. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 05:48, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Massyparcer, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for crreating this. You may still be working on it, but at the moment it is an unreferenced biography of a living person and so may be tagged for deletion. 'External links' usually means 'friendly suggestions for further reading', in this case it is actually your source? If so, can you please make it clear in the article and WP:INLINECITE it (all sources on living people's articles need to be inlinie, so it is really clear that the information on them is verified). Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 09:12, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced blps[edit]

I see you have ignored the above (please be aware that WP:Communication is required) and that you have continued to create unreferenced biographies of living people, such as Im Gi-yeong. I will move your unreferenced creations to draftspace, where you can work on them and submit them via WP:AFC when they have references. If you have any quesitons, please ping/message me. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 09:51, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have now moved an unreferenced biography of a living person from draftspace back to mainspace, but have not added a reference. Is that because you are in the process of adding a reference? Can you please communicate? Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 08:54, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I've just added a reference. Btw, on both pages I had already referenced the official player page on the KBO website (with player stats and history). Didn't that count? Best regards,Kimahrikku (talk) 09:03, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for responding to me. I had wondered if you were just confused about what a reference was. 'External links' means 'friendly suggestion for further reading' and doesn't imply that you used the information on that link to create the article. If you did, it should be in 'Sources' or 'References', and because this is on a living person, it needs to be WP:INLINECITED. Inline citations really help readers and other editors on any article, but when we're talking about living people, we need to be really clear that the information in the aritcle is from a reliable source and not just made up. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 09:10, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I gotta say I'm still not 100% familiar with all the rules and norms and standards on Wikipedia. Thanks for the clarification between External Links and References. Best wishes,Kimahrikku (talk) 09:18, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of districts of Seoul, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Namsan, Ichon and Jamsil (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 14:48, 29 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, List of KBO career batting average leaders, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! –User456541 12:43, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of tallest buildings in Sejong requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of tallest buildings in Sejong. Notice

The article List of tallest buildings in Daegu has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Per extensive recent consensus on these types of lists. Minimal navigational purpose given that only two of these buildings have articles (one article for both actually) and are unlikely to have sufficient coverage for articles, and the topic of tall buildings in Daegu as a whole has no significant coverage that I could find.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ♠PMC(talk) 02:51, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
