regarding Pat Brown (Criminal Profiler)

You may wish to edit this article with an eye towards removing some of the POV statements. While I agree that Ms. Brown is not particualry well-informed, Wikipedia is supposed to be a neutral encyclopedia. If you want to show that she isn't an FBI trained profiler, you can do that in a neutral way by simply stating what degrees she really does hold and what background she does have. You could say something along the lines of "Ms. Brown describes herself as a Criminal Profiler and as such she appears frequently on the cable news channels offering her expert opinions on crimes in the news. However, unlike Cliff Van Zandt, RObert Ressler and John Douglas, who also appear on such shows in their capacity as Profilers, Ms. Brown has no history of service with any law enforcement agency either State, County, Municipal or Federal." See how that kinda of gets the point across?

Just put her credentials up as they are and let the readers decide is she's qualified. if she's made some seriously outragious statements,m and it appears she has, you can include some of them but keep them brief and make sure you cite the references. Don't characterize them in any way yourself but if other notable people have called them outragious, then cite that person. You could say "On such and such date, Pat brown said of such and such person or crime... blah blah blah." You can then go on to say "This statement was called ___ by name of notable person." By the way, refering to her as a talking head isn't negative or postive, it is merely descriptive which is why I sued it on the disambiguation page.

Further to this discussion, here is a link to an article about a book by Brent Truvey, another self-described criminal profiler. At least Truvey is attempting, in his book, to suggest that some set of standards be applied to the growing field. You might find this an interesting read:
