Proposed deletion of Muntu Valdo

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Muntu Valdo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Even in various translated sources I can't find anything. Not an A7 qualifer though.

Muntu Valdo

Hi, the problem is that there are no sources. Your information must have come from somewhere. So down near the bottom add a section called References, and under that describe where the information for the article came from. Hopefully it is in a published form like a newspaper, or web site, or music magazine. Also if there is some other way to write his name say in another language, put that in too, so that others can find more information. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:04, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Myspace is not a reliable source as anyone can put something there. If it is his own page it can be used to grab information, but in itself it does not show notability. You will need to find independent sources of information too. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:45, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Harambee Foundation Holland

The article Harambee Foundation Holland has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I looked into this--there's nothing there. No news, no discussion--the outfit does good stuff, no doubt, but it is not notable by our standards. The only "coverage" is this--but it's a report submitted to the foundation, not a secondary source.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Question for Admin

I have a question from admin on one of the pages I have edited on previously https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miguna_Miguna. There seems to be frequent manipulation on the article especially on matters of citizenship. Is there any protection that can be afforded on this page by wikipedia to have comments reviewed before they are published? Yes, it is possible to do that. It is called "pending changes", and if you wish to know about it in detail you can read Wikipedia:Pending changes. However, you will need to give clear reasons why it should be done: you would need to explain just what you need by "frequent manipulation". You should give a clear statement of what you think the problems are at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 21:58, 16 December 2018 (UTC).

Thank you for your prompt response and I will go and read about that now. To answer your question, the subject is a politician from Kenya who has featured in the news a lot recently, and if you look at the page you will notice there has been deletions changes and edits on various subjects such as that of his citizenship most of which have been ruled in court. If you look study the history closely, it will be clear that the manipulation is with intent on specific write-ups and does not keep up with the fair editorial spirit of WIKI. It may be fair that any edits be reviewed before they are published to verify the authenticity.
