Welcome to Esperanza![edit]

Welcome, JWJW, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. You can support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact our administrator general Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). While I've been indulging in a spot of Whack-A-Mole lately, my intention has not been to "work against keeping wikipedia vandal free", but simply to reduce the need to semi-protect some pages. OK, well now that you know and understand, you can probably go back to using it when you have a task. Maybe you would like to try some typo fixing. I fail to see how precisely I 'vandalized' anything. I simply elaborated on an "in popular culture reference", correctly, as the original statement on the article was, if not invalid, at least incomplete. How you justify this as "vandalism" I have no idea, but frankly people like you are the reason I generally don't bother with wikipedia.

"Self explanatory"-Morrison Steam Fayre article[edit]

There's probably 100,000 words of essays on why something may not be "Notable". Rather than wading through all that and try to work out for myself why somebody might object to the article, I was hoping the person who tagged the article might tell me why. Hi. I undid your recent edits which had unlinked many dates. These are linked deliberately. It assists automatic processing of date ranges, generation of timelines, etc. I left your spelling corrections of govenment in place. If there are multiple links to the same target in an article, you want to keep the first link and (usually) delete the others, but your script did the opposite in the Mafia article. Sonic Belligeranza article[edit]

Thanks for letting me know. Now I sincerely don't want to waist too much of your time, but yours was the only "friendly" response I got so I shall let you know some more about the case. Sonic Belligeranza records is a breakcore label who's distributed worldwide, I've replied to the editor responsible for the deletion that I could provide him its notability indicating urls of US, Japanese, European and Asutralian distributors dealing with its releases. The response to this was that it was not notable on Wikipedia, so I prepared 3 different versions of if none of them accepted. So I wonder now if editors don't let this in Wikipedia how can the subject become notable enough in order to be accepted? As we say in Italy it's like a serpent eating his tail....If you have any suggestion on what to do, write a 4th version of it, give up?
